I think we outplayed them for almost the entire 2nd period...and then the refs stepped in.
If we come out the same way we started the 2nd, I feel pretty confident. Pens are a fake team. If they have to resort to diving to get goals, they won't be able to hang in the playoffs.
I was curious about that.. from where I was, I didnt think it was much more than a firm body check. It was not high, he did not stride - he did have some speed, but Paille isnt exactly slow coming in to dig for a puck. I thought that was a bad call, more so than Letangs embellishment (at first glance looked like a high stick)
Paille did leave his feet. It's not the worst call. The Letang stuff was bad. Sours me to him, I thought he was good.

It was a high stick...but to his shoulder. The fact that Letang snapped his head back and held his face as he went down is what has everyone peeved. He should've gotten 2 mins for unsportsman-like conduct/diving...but that call doesn't exist anymore in the NHL.

Didn't mind it too much b/c he left his feet to make the hit. 50/50 call, IMO. But the fact that it was exacerbated by a garbage penalty 10 seconds later is what really hurt.
