I'm just happy we get to put a banner up and be crowned division champions. Was only two the last time they did that, so obviously I don't remember. Feels good.
I have literally waited my entire life for this. Born just a few months after the last clinch and here I am now. Feels real good man, even with an ugly win.
It would have been more exciting if there were no complaining when we were leading by at least three goals for most of the game.

Game ended like that because for whatever reason the time stopped at 2.6 seconds WAY before the whistle blew. The refs had no reason to blow the play dead with no PHI player near by.
The refs also didn't want a complete melee breaking out...given how chippy this game was.
In other related news, Buffalo wins OT so tied with caps 2 games each, need to play better than the Caps to get in. We play the Caps for the last game so.... assuming that the high offense Buffalo trend keeps up with Miller playing solidly, I think we might have ourselves an interesting situation come the last day of the season..
We played a terrible second half. Lundqvist was great. D needs to get better.
Can't believe it's been 18 years, but it feels great to have the division and 1 seed locked up. Congrats to the players, coaches and us. The hard work starts now.
