maybe not a bad idea to cut Jagr icetime, put him on a lower line, face top pairing defenders less often

Agreed 100%

His decision making is just about half a second to slow

Well we did win the 2nd and 3rd periods. That counts for something right? Oh wait . . . what? You mean the first period matter too? You don't say. Hmmm well maybe we can try taking that into account in the playoffs.

Regarding the Rangers in the playoffs, let someone else take em out, worked for us in 2010

At this point losing 8 straight to the Rangers since last year, it falls on Laviolette. Effort, refs, and breaks should have been washed out by now.

Hopefully someone can take out Boston too, because the Flyers aren't making it past them either.

Ottawa could beat the Bruins.

Btw, looks like Boychuck is done. Knee to knee hit from Asham.

So does the 5-0 record vs Pgh also fall on Lavi?

We have actually played very well minus the blowout game against Boston. 1 win and 2 shootout losses... they can't hide behind shootouts in the postseason and two overtime games can go either way, it could just have easily been 3-1 Flyers.

I can recall about two legitimate shots on goal by the Rangers for almost the full final two periods. Wish Bryz coulda made a couple big saves early. Also, Giroux was absolutely phenomenal tonight.
