Another knee to knee, is Bsylma or however you spell it, running a bounty system in Pittsburgh.

Blaming Bryz when the defense lacked the entire first period?

One could hope but then even so I'd still like to stay in the 4/5 matchup and play the Devils/Panthers

Another knee on knee by Pitt......

I'm thinking we go for the sixth spot at this point. Or at least hope for it

Well, at least there aren't many Flyers games that end up being boring to watch. If we could just stop going down two, three, even four goals before we get going...

Giroux picked up his game after that first period. I think I would separate him and Jagr if I'd been the head coach of this team though. Hartnell deserved a goal in this game. He did a really good job in front of the net. Timonen had a strong game as well.

The Rangers are not the most talented team in the league. Quite far from it. They work their ***** off however, and they work like a team as well. Guys like Boyle, Girardi, McDonagh blocks a lot of shots and shooting lanes. Their (somewhat) lack of secondary scoring might become a problem for them in the playoffs however. If a team can stop Gaborik and Richards (easier said than done, I know) there aren't that many threats left. If they draw the Sabres, Miller might very well steal that series.

Didn't put full blame on him, D was far from great and missed Grossmann big time, just said I wished he made a couple big saves.

Just because the defense was poor doesn't mean Bryz didn't suck it up, himself.

I am suspecting that you are unable to follow fast pace game because the puck is moving a little too fast for you.

Lilja lost the goal. It's Hartnell's now. I'm thinking they'll change that again actually.

I don't think we'll end up with the 6th seed, if I'm not mistaken we need just 1 point to make sure Jersey doesn't end up in the 4-5 match-up

The only way we get 6th is (if I'm not mistaken)
- We lose the rest of the games in regulation and New Jersey wins out

It's definitely not impossible, but also not likely to happen.

Plus if we end up with the 6th seed and move on to round 2, we'll probably have to face the Rags

...yeah no thanks
