A lot of hockey players have "adoring fans", just not quite to that level of crazy. I can remember going to a lot of Canes practices, and seeing the same girls there day after day, with tons of makeup on, dressed more like they were going to a nightclub than a hockey rink at 11:00am. Some of them not so subtely flirting with players, even the married ones.

My favorites are the ones who are at least a decade removed from being considered "girls."
It's stuff like that that makes most guys think girls are crazy.
I have known PLENTY of guys who do this too, actually. Obsessing over celebrities, having ridiculous crushes, even writing fanfiction. It's not something exclusive to girls, I promise. Nor is it every female hockey fan, just a certain subsection of the population.
But if you thought THIS girl was crazy? Yeah. That I would DEFINITELY understand.
lol who is Jeff Skinner? Some scrub on a team in North Carolina? He is nothing compared to perennial all star third liner Chris Neil, who played 14 minutes in tonights game.
