I'm impressed by the showing of character, but I'll be even more impressed if we win in Philly/Boston.
Absolutely. But how about that SICK pass to Ennis on the power play? If he was more vigilant/stronger in front of the net, that would have been a regulation win for the Sabres.
I hate soft play in front of our net but he certainly made up for it.

Bad: Hodgson -2 in three straight games. I don't think he's played poorly; really, he's looked good. Even so, it's not nice to see -2 in three straight.
Also, watching Foligno's post game interview: this guy is absolutely the future captain of this team.

That's so funny. Because everybody says how hard Leino works, and yet he doesn't protect the puck as well as a lazy Kassian can. Huh.

Florida will be fine playing for a tie while WSH wants to win in regulation...it's not the most favorable of situations for BUF, that's for sure.

Boston has no reason to win either

My buddy texting me relentlessly about how our 4th and 5th goals shouldn't have counted. 5th, no, but 4th was a fine goal.

I'm assuming the ref still saw the puck that's why the whistle wasn't blown.

Same here lol, I think the 5th was fine. We would've cryed a lot if he blew it just before we scored

Given the last 10 games or so, we're due some breaks. It's about time we got a call or two to fall our way.

unless you were the lead ref on that play, there's no way you can aver that the 5th goal shouldn't have counted.

Watch the replay a few times. The answer is exactly what you said. The ref had sight of it. The goalie didn't have possession of it. No other player had control or covered it.
Puck in play .... The whole time.

Might be a a little early to brand the "lazy" label on Kassian. I like Foligno better, but I'd kill to have 2 more Folignos.
