We won't hear a peep beyond "lower body" until the playoffs are over, but i'm going with MCL sprain, 4 week minimum. The thought of Corvo getting major ice time in the playoffs makes me want to punch babies. Do you think anyone would notice if Bubba was out in Corvo's jersey?

Agreed - if we are still playing and he can return we may hear a little. Claude keeps things under lock and key during the regular season, he keeps them in a vault in the postseason.
If any of you saw the way Carcillo's knee bent when he boarded the guy from Edmonton, Boychuk's looked exactly like that. The fact he couldn't put any weight on it and the obvious pain he was in, says it's probably a torn ACL and he's done for the year.
It looked bad. I hope it's not bad, but it looked really bad.
This is terrible, Corvo in the playoffs is going to be a nightmare.
Yes it did look really bad, and I would rather see Mottau than Corvo.

All knee all the way, I will actually give the NBC props for having a great angle and freezeframe of his knee bending sideways over 30 degrees. I winced. >_<
Yeah, but he did scream when he hit the ice. He knew immediately he wasn't gonna move.
Were gonna have wait and see,I hope it was just sore from colliding with Asham and its just swelling ,,know soon enough,If he cant go Bruins better go with Mattau,They lose alot ith Corvoi out there,I watched close ton ite and they were hemmed in alot when he was on ice,They play him over anyone they done,

I'd rather see Boychuk rolled out in a wheelchair on the ice than Corvo.
I will go with you....just because the other options are no good.
I'm being serious too
Just a gut feeling I guess, I won't be surprised if it's real bad, but IDK, Boychuck is a tough as nails farm boy, I've seen knees bend like that, including my own, and end up being nothing big, really depends on how flexible you are really - so I'll just stay on the optimistic side of the fence.
If I was still a wagering man, Id say you wont see him til next year.
Training staff carried him to a chair in corridor, putting no weight on left leg...scariest part was they then went and got a wheelchair to take him back to the room or more likely to the ambulance...
