Training staff carried him to a chair in corridor, putting no weight on left leg...scariest part was they then went and got a wheelchair to take him back to the room or more likely to the ambulance...
I am hoping for the best, for preparing for the worst. You could see him scream in pain as he sat on the ice- didn't move, and he put no weight on it at all.
Hyper extension and the twisting motion= bad for the knee.
Corvo with 2 good knees= bad for the B's
Mike Mottau, you're up. How soon will Quaider be ready to return?
If they were to lose could he be called up and possibly play? I'd rather him learn from making the same mistakes Corvo would.
Nobodymakes the same mistakes Corvo would. Sometimes I think Corvo is astonished at his own stupidity. The first goal tonight was a perfect example of it....Cover the front of the %%Q%#$#$ net.
Pretty sure they said Quaider could have played tonight but they kept him out another as precaution.
If report of Boychuk limping around is true and it looks like he dodged a bullet that would be a huge plus. Shoot even a week or two rest would be great.
I was the one that suggested broken femur..Only cause I had it happen on the exact same play and when I watched my replay it looked very similar..I also said it was probably not a broken femur but a remote possibility. It looked bad and I think everyone will agree when they watched the replay they had thoughts of not seeing Johnny B. again this season...Of course we all pray otherwise
If he walked out under his own power (no crutches or wheelchair) that all but rules out any type of serious knee injury. I'll say it's a bad contusion and he's going to be back by game 3 of the first round.

I hate to be an alarmist but Brady walked off the field when he tore his ACL.
Got I hope Johnny B is OK. We need him so bad and he has really been a rock this season. He seemed to settle down and get comfortable once he signed the extension (funny how knowing your future can relax a player, huh?)
