1) most important...great job rangers!!!! congratulations!!!!
2) didn't dan bylsma (or however you say it) say the #1 eastern conference would come down to the april 5 game against nyr? (i thought i remember him saying that not too long ago)...if true....YOU ARE WRONG!
3) nhl.com had the rangers clinching as the 3rd of the top 5 stories...and then got bumped out of that once pitts won...uhh show some respect, this is huge and unexpected!!!...just looked again #2 out of top 5....thats better, not perfect but better
NHL office has all kinds of stories prepped and ready to roll for a Penguins conquest, I bet, complete with multiple camera angles and interviews with Crosby.
They probably have some intern writing up a story for the Rangers clinch.
"Hey kid, get me that story about the Rags, don't worry 'bout the grammar, it won't be up long."
Henrik is 17-7 against the top-10 teams in the NHL. Quick is 10-11 against the top-19 teams in the NHL.
9 of the 12 worst offenses in the NHL are in the WC. 4 of the 12 are from Quick's division.
Henrik has played 17 games against the top-4 offenses in the league. All four of those offenses are in the EC. Two are in his division. He's 12-5 in those games.
Quick has played 5 games against those same teams. He's 2-3.
Their GAA and SVPCT are very close. It's obvious Henrik has had the tougher job.
Kings fans can say all they want about the Kings making the playoffs and winning the division because of Quick.
The Rangers won the EC and possibly the President's Trophy because of Lundqvist.
Lundqvist will win his first Vezina. Call me a homer all you want, but GM's will acknowledge that Henrik has had to run a tougher gauntlet.
Cant wait for the small blurb about us next to the high school sports section after ten pages of what Melo had for dinner.
should be next to the high school baseball team, ull have to pass 15pages of yank and mets crap first. any bets on getting the back page? i say the POST, maybe not the Knicks lost.
I don't even care for the presidents trophy, rest any player that needs a day off, and especially give Hank atleast the next game off. Not that I don't want to win the presidents trophy, but I don't look at it as a priority.
And to whoever said it above; Yes, we will get the back page tomorrow... I hope.

Coupled that with Hank being the most consistent goalie since the lockout and this being Quick's first real breakout season, I maintain that Hank wins the Vezina.

KNICKS lost, and Jeter has a cold, that will make it.
So happy for the guys on this team. They've certainly had some ups & downs but they're such a genuinely likeable team. Really enjoyed Rangers hockey so far this year.
let's go rangers ... clap clap clap clap clap ... let's go rangers ... clap clap clap clap clap ... let's go rangers ...clap clap clap clap clap ... goodnight cheesesteaks, cindy crybaby, the icelanders from short island who play at the mausoleum, the debbies from the pebble ... Long live the chief, he is looking down from hockey heaven ( and the blue seats )
