I'd rather have 1 or 2 extra Sunday games on the schedule.

For us living overseas this would be a great thing, kinda like the Islanders schedule. They play quite a few games early sunday.

Yeah they do. I worry what the home draw would be if it coincided with a game at the Ralph...but I always found it cool when people in the Bruins crowd would rock Pats jerseys Sunday nights at a 6pm start after a 1pm Pats game at Juhhllhett.

I believe they actually did play less back to backs this year.

They'll still end up being one of the top teams as far as back to backs because of their geographical location and the division they are in.

I'm with the 5-6PM Sunday games though.

Sunday evening games would be awesome for sure. We had one of them a few years ago, and I think it came after a Bills win, which made it phenomenal. It has happened before, where the two play on the same day. I think one year post lockout, they clashed.

Also....curious...How do geographical location and division come into play when determining back to backs, and why we have so many more than everyone else, divisional opponents notably included? Not being a dick at all, I'm really very curious...because I have no ****ing clue why this can't be worked out in our favor.

W/e ***** gotta be changed. 20 or 21 back to back games when team like the Capitals only had (12?). I've gotta believe that we wouldn't even be talking about tiebreakers if we both had 12. (yeah posted this in main forums as well heh)

From what I remember reading a lot of it is travel costs. Sabres are basically right in the center of the Northeast Division and the Atlantic division. Hell Detroit, Columbus and Minnesota are very close. Washington as well. It just makes sense if you're playing Philadelphia one night, ship their ***** to Ottawa the next. Team goes back home to play later in the week, send them down to Pittsburgh the next night. They have to schedule around Toronto and Montreal as well. Those teams love their big ticket Saturday night games.

Pretty sure a winning team that isn't pushed to its physical limits will achieve that as well.

just in case anyone wants to see the breakdown of back to backs.

http://www.ontheforecheck.com/2011/6...super-schedule

some teams play less then half the number of back to backs that the Sabres do, but some of them have to travel more miles. Just from these stats the Bruins and Islanders have pretty cushy schedules.
