^ What he said. Seriously, stop overreacting. It's not a ****ing spoiler, it's a dirtsheet "report" on what WWE *apparently* wants to do for WrestleMania 29. Nothing is set in stone and no results are leaked about whether The Rock actually ever wins the WWE Championship again.
Big difference. What Cena said was his kayfabe promise, and it likely was never in the cards. Someone coming in and posting the WWE's plans, even if they are that far away, is different. Might not happen, but hey, some don't want to know any plans at all. Plus, if, say, Rock's in a title match at Survivor Series, you don't think that everyone, including people who didn't want to be spoiled, automatically realize he's probably taking it, and then Brock's winning the RR?
On an unrelated note, after reading spoilers from tonight's SD tapings(don't worry this isn't a spoiler at all), apparently the chants haven't gone away yet. On one hand, good to see. On another, if WWE had big plans for DBD as a cowardly heel, possibly getting traded over to RAW and fueding with CM Punk, maybe cheering for him and treating him as a face isn't exactly the best idea.
That video just lead me to so many others of guys I had forgotten about, and it makes me sad to know there are so many amazing works stuck in the indy circuit making pennies when. I'm not sure why the WWE doesn't pluck from them more often, whether it's experience or body image or what.
Yeah, a guy who left and grabbed a better opportunity and became a bigger star than he ever was in WWE.
Maybe if WWE had been creating stars like that in recent years, they wouldn't have to bring in these "dreaded outsiders"....who you know, happen to draw money......
I am not saying that Lesnar doesn't draw money. I am just defending the case of digging back for past talent is all.
A pre-season in the NFL, and a short lived MMA career, granted he was champion for a little while, but his name may have been a bit bigger if he stayed in the WWE. How many people know the name, John Cena?
He's currently known as the guy who couldn't cut it in UFC.
I am not saying Brock isn't good for business as Triple H would put it but he is what he is but he can turn it around if he sticks around in the company for a while.

He was the heavyweight champ for 2 years if I'm not mistaken. you can't blame him for the surgery he had.

Defending the UFC Heavyweight title twice is no small feat.

So instead of turning Cena heel, they're just going to spend the entire year burying him with Attitude Era/Brand Extension talent? First Kane, then Rock, now Lesnar? What's next, JBL and Goldberg come back?
Don't get me wrong, I love the nostalgia, but burying the hell out of your franchise guy with older talent isn't the same as a heel turn.
I don't think you know what "burying" means, Cena has hardly been buried.
Whos' constantly positioned at the top of the card? Not the WWE champion. CENA IS.
This is nonsense....
Does anyone else get the sense that Raw was something special and it's going to lead to some huge things for the WWE in the near future, anchored by the return of Brock Lesnar?
The attention WWE is getting right now because of Lesnar's return is huge and if WWE keeps up solid booking and can begin making new stars (beginning with Bryan, Ziggler, Rhodes, Ambrose, Barrett, etc), the WWE can be hitting another boom period pretty soon.

Well here's the thing, guys like Rock, Lesnar, Cena, and to a degree now, Punk, are huge enough stars that they don't need a strap to have believable spirited matches. As long as the booking makes sense the workers take care of the rest.
What that means is that guys like Bryan, Ziggler, Rhodes, and Wade can take a title run to boost their personas as well.
How soon until Ambrose appears on tv? I assume it will be a while.

Really soon actually. Not to spoil anything, but another guy from FCW debuted on Smackdown last night with a simple backstage promo and it was said FCW stars would start coming up to the WWE after WrestleMania. WWE's high on Dean Ambrose and that video I posted earlier with him confronting Mick Foley during WrestleMania weekend just shows what they think of him by having him interact with Foley already, even though it was just at the festivities for WrestleMania. Ambrose cut a promo last night at the tapings before a dark match and apparently, he got the crowd to hate him really fast.
Raw is having a 3 hour "extreme" show on the Raw before Extreme Rules, so I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Ambrose arrive by then. I think it happens really soon and by the end of the year, he'll be in the main event scene. There's just no way you keep a guy like Ambrose out of the main event scene. He's like some awesome mix of Piper, Raven and Pillman when it comes to his promos and his in-ring style is unique, best of all? He's only 26 years old.
About the other points: the WWE suddenly finds themselves in a really good position. WrestleMania 28 brought in a lot of people. A lot of people I know that either never have or don't watch wrestling anymore watched WM28 and then watched Monday Night Raw and Lesnar's return, and they're hooked again. How can you not be after what happened Monday? If WWE plays their cards right and pulls this off correctly - another boom period could be on the horizon for professional wrestling.

i doubt it simply because of one thing: lack of competition

I hope you're right about Ambrose. I looked up a few videos of him and his ring work has indy written all over it which I love. Punk and Bryan came from similar programs and I consider them two of the best performers in the WWE now. I'm not sure about putting him in the main event scene, as his body type is almost a complete 180 from what the typical champ looks like. But he should be booked strong at least.
They've got so much damn talent on this roster though. Rather than bury so many names they really need to get a strong tag division going.

Maybe I am Old School, but those guys don't have the body to be ''new stars''. They are great wrestler and they are legit for the IC or US title. But to be the WHC, I want wrestler like Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Batista, Sheamus, John Cena, The Rock...

And that's part of the problem in the WWE too, because for the longest time they had the same mentality. Huge muscles doesn't equate to good wrestler all of the time. In fact it's usually the opposite imo. If booked properly you can have smaller build guys like Punk and Del Rio as credible champions because they are very good at working quality matches. Heck, they've put Rey Mysterio over in the main event scene many times, so it can be done.

I don't know if it was done as a way to book Henry strong or just to weaken Punk a little bit. Punk has been the indestructible one for several months now, so this knocks him down a peg. Maybe it's even a two birds with one stone type of thing. I can't see Henry getting a main event title push any time soon though, it's just too crowded of a scene. If anything he can dethrone Big Show for the IC belt.

That's what I love about his videos too. It's very believable.
-- WWE announced during the SmackDown taping that the stars of The Three Stooges will be guest stars on Monday's RAW. The film stars Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos and opens on Friday, April 13.

So you'd rather see guys like Ezekiel Jackson, Mason Ryan, and David Otunga be champion over Shawn Michaels, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio? Even Mark Henry at this point in his career is a fat blob in spandex. I don't care what they look like, if they can perform well and entertain me then I like them.
