Pretty much this. Wiz started as this small sendup of the Seinfeld segment then he turned into this endless annoying soundbite then he did a massive voiceover thing, just brutal. There are too many guys on that station that try too hard. Glad to see Simpson is at 7 a.m. I can just tune in to Pierre at 8 then shut it down until 10 a.m. or so...Simpson is ok but again he just recyles stuff from other sources. They don't need him honestly and hopefully the station gets rebranded and they bring new blood in or just tie to the Toronto main TSN station or even co-opt the Montreal one.

Couldn't agree more. I used to listen to Sportscall at work, but with him on the show, it is unbearable. Two of the most annoying personality traits that a person can possess are:
1) belief that they are funny/hilarious, when they are not
2) egotism

He’s on a redundant, second rate breakfast TV show that could be cancelled at any second and acts like he’s Regis Philbin.
And I don’t know if it’s an ego thing or a nervous thing, but ever realize he hardly ever looks at the camera? Mind you, I don’t watch the show so I’m basing myself off a 2 or 3 day stretch about a month ago.
I only caught the last part, but Djurgarden wont let Zibby come over until their season is officially over. It will look bad to their fans if they let a player leave early. They hope he can play 2 games in Bingo next weekend. As of right now he isn't going to play in the playoffs and burn a year, but if the Sens do go deep then it might be worth it.
Bryan also mentioned he would love if Silfverberg could come over, but him and Brynas are playing too well and probably wont be out for at least 2 weeks.

During a 20-20 update, they mentioned that Team 1200 will be "your home for Euro 2012" this summer. Would be sick if they have play-by-play of the tournament. I can remember even if 4-6 years ago pulling teeth just getting World Cup and Euro scores.

Seems like they are grooming Shawn Simpson to be Mcguire's replacement.
Simpson has certainly been a good addition. As a result there is even less time for TGOR banter and filler which is a good thing. The only reason I listen to the morning show now is because of Simmer, McGuire and the odd guest they may have on.
Healthy Scratches is the best program on the station in my opinion with the power hour being the highlight. Jason York and LLoydy can go off on tangents but they can usually reel it back in before it gets really annoying.

Isn't soccer boring enough just to watch it on tv? It must be like pulling teeth to listen to it on the radio!

No more white noise from the announcers. A minute spent talking about Jason York or The Bachelor is a minute I am NOT hearing about the Senators and quite frankly, with the speed of information with blogs and twitter and so on...that's just not acceptable.
