Referring to this team as the "Eastern Conference Champions" now is just as big of a jinx as saying "shutout" before the game is over.

That GDT was really something else last night. Jinx the shutout and you will suffer a fate worse than death. I also enjoyed the John Scott discussion, clearly our season hinged on whether or not he played. Hank probably would have had the shutout if Scott dressed.

Even just after securing the 1st seed, many of our divisional rival fans are predicting our demise in the 1st round against Wash/Buff.

Until they make a very deep run, the Rangers will never get any respect. I would love nothing more than to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, and taking out NJ/PHI/PIT along the way.

I think this eastern conference win is 80% King Henrik's credit . Another goalie and not champion i think...

Hahahaha I care about everything else right now.

Let's hope Philly and Pittsburgh are the 4/5 match and they kick the ever living **** out of each other in a bloody 7-game series.

Give me Washington, Florida, or Buffalo in the first round, doesn't matter. Ottawa is the only team I'd have a problem with facing, they seem to have our number.

I think it's hilarious. I would not mind Hartnell on the Rangers at all....

Forget about "not minding him on the Rangers." I actually want us to try getting him next year.

Hartnell's a good hockey player, no doubt.

I don't like him though. If Hank can joke around with him, i'd tolerate him.

Hartnell is a player everyone hates, except when he's on your team

I don't see Hartnell going anywhere. The fans their love him. He and Giroux are staying in Philly for a LONG time IMO. Although if he does decide to enter the market, I would rather go after him than go after Parise. Cheaper and he's just Hartnell, a great pesty player.

Parise is a WAY better player all around than Hartnell. Hartnell would be essentially upgrading from strength.

He would be a more offensive Callahan, with a lesser defensive game.

Parise is great offensively, solid defensively, and fills a much bigger need for a top LW.

If Rupp is out with what's been speculated as a possible concussion or jaw injury who would you rather see in the lineup, Scott, Newbury, or Devaux? (Not counting kreider in).

Wait, Hartnell isn't even a UFA next year. His contract is up after next season...

Devaux. He is a fairly good player, I would rather have him in the lineup than mitchell.

Scott is barely an NHL player.

Newbury just sucks, I have never understood why he got as many call ups as he did.

I'd rather see Kreider but for the next two games, i'd put Bickel at wing and Eminger at defense.
