Really hope Stoner doesn't play just so we can finally see Cuma.

Yay for Cuma!
Upper body injury for Stoner? Possible broken hand from his fight? Man, he just can't stay healthy...

Felix keeps getting beaten to the punch.
Doubt he plays.

I'm not familiar with emergency call up's but would Stoner need to be placed on the IR list if Cuma plays?

Bold Prediction: Cuma suffers a significant injury on his 2nd shift of the game.

No. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but he doesn't need to be put on IR.

as far as i know its a callup because your player cant play and that guy is up only until the other guy gets healthy. kind of like almond just recently

In the true spirit of HFBoards, I'm gonna make the call immediately following his first NHL shift.

Hope he gets a chance to play. Look, a Wild Bust appears! It uses poke check attack! It's not very effective.

it's still a bust if he never plays meaningful minutes with your club (edit: and you got nothing in return) no matter the circumstances. it would be kind of mean to call him that, i guess, but it's still a pick that went nowhere.

Right, but it's only been 3 years since he's been drafted and he's been injured from 2 of them. Are we really calling him a bust already? (Hypothetical question)

It seems like forever. the fact that he hasn't warranted a callup over guys like Spurgeon, Prosser, Falk, or Stoner worries me a bit. I'm not calling him a bust yet because he's still here and may yet do something. But he's a top pick from the old regime that clearly doesn't have the full confidence of current management, so personally I'd say he has a bigger chance of being a bust than succeeding here. Won't be sad at all if he makes it. It boggles the mind that he could be worse than what we have. I figure Schultz departure would make room for him here.
