Definitely do not like the vibe of the last two teams that ended our season to be the ones in position to end our season.

Their defense is as injuried as our defense. Should be another 6-5 game.

Had the same unsettling feeling.

Can't decide if my unsettled stomach is currently being caused by the Sabres tomorrow, the Braves Opening Day tomorrow, or my psych test I am not well enough prepared for tomorrow.

I actually wrote down some consquences on my dry-erase board if the sabres lose tonight...egging the penguin fans behind my house, shaving the cat, drinking a whole bottle of crown, quit my job, ect.

I refuse to attend the game. I won't give the Flyers the opportunity to give me 2 of my worst live memories.

I think our chances are as good as any game against them considering half their d is toast and Briere will not be playing. Hopefully the sabres can pull out a trip to overtime at the least. Also LET'S GO FLORIDA!!!!!!

When the Sabres lose, you feel sad.

When you feel sad, you drink a bottle of crown.

When you drink a bottle of crown, you don't show up to work the next day.

When you don't show up to work, you lose your job.

When you don't have a job, you spend your time shaving cats.

Don't spend your time shaving cats. Go win Sabres.

So, I noticed Breire absent from the game thread (nice job as always)? I guess from the Vitale hit a few days ago?

Injury updates.

Holmgren refuted a report on a Rangers telecast that defenseman Andrej Meszaros was ahead of schedule and would start skating this weekend.

Meszaros had back surgery March 21, and Holmgren said the earliest he would return would be the second round of the playoffs.

Left winger James van Riemsdyk, who had surgery on his right foot March 6, will visit a doctor Thursday and could have his boot removed and be given clearance to begin skating, Holmgren said. The GM added that "a lot would have to go right" for van Riemsdyk to be able to play in the middle of the first playoff round.

Holmgren said he was hopeful defenseman Nick Grossmann, out with an apparent knee injury, can resume skating this weekend. Grossmann is expected to be ready for the start of the playoffs.

The Flyers are monitoring center Danny Briere, who continues to ice his ailing back. Briere hopes he can return for the beginning of the playoffs, but nothing is definitive.

Holmgren also said bruising winger Tom Sestito, recovering from groin surgery, is "weeks away" from returning.

You can never sy no chance because any NHL team can win on a given night but it will be an uphill battle. Miller has to win this for us, to me that's clear.

Added Ted Black audio from this morning. The Sabres morning skate webcast is streaming live right now (on the Press Room channel of SabresTV or NHL.com) and Gerbe is the lone one out there right now shooting from the right circle:

Offense versus offense, which should put us at a disadvantage.

But Foligno won't let us lose.

So why does everyone think this is going to be a hard game? Philly has clinched the playoffs and win or lose thats not going to change a thing, so why do you think they will go all out on us and risk more injury that could negatively effect them in the playoffs?

Philly will lay off a bit tonight and we will take a 4-1 win. Caps beat Florida in OT and lose in regulation to rangers this weekend. We take down Bruins on Saturday and make it in as the 8th seed

Kind of off topic, but in that Ted Black audio from WGR, right near the end he says that RJ thought he took too many games off, and "he'd like to do more next year."

Awesome.
