Went with Zajac when the poll was made. But he's my favorite Devils player so there's a little bias there.
Elias deserves it though. Kovy should not have been running away with this. Even back then when he had that great streak.

It's Elias. On the ice and off the ice. He should get the C back, but won't.

Keep having fun. A funny thing happens when you have fun...
When you have too much fun, you piss people off.
It is a certainty. Weird phenomenon.

When Kovalchuk was playing well, we won. When he wasn't playing well, we lost. I don't know any other player who had that huge of an affect on a team.

I think you just said missing the playoffs was Kovalchuk's fault....

He's probably not the MVP off the ice, but Zajac makes everyone he plays with look good. Consistency is such an underrated feat.

I'm biased, but I voted for Patty. He's been here all year, including the streak. You can point out a bunch of players during that winning streak (Kovy, Rolston, Patty, Zajac, Hedberg, Brodeur, Tallinder).
I will say this... Kovy does get the crowd into it. He's probably one of the main reasons we're all believing right now. But Patty has been playing complete games this whole season
I gave up after the first page, but yes to this. Lemaire of course, but among the players is has to be Elias. Imagine this team's first half without him
I predicted 80pts for him this year and he got 62 on a terrible offensive team and rarely playing with Kovy.

Patty was consistently good, but Kovy carried the team for half the season.
Honestly, being the most valuable player of this ****fest season isn't much of an accomplishment.

Why would you bump anything from last season?
Unless it was the gif party from the draft lotto.
Kovy and Patty still number 1 and 2.

Sadly, we filled that thread with our giffage, and it is now locked.
