Bar stools are ticketed seats. West Balcony is probably a better option to watch the game but if worse comes to worse, the 300's could work. Also you could see the game from the 4 corner 300's entrances by where the new 300's starts as well. There are handicap seats over there so you could stand behind them and watch the game.

Yes they're definitely selling them.
However when I was at a Knicks game about 2 weeks ago there was still some space with no bar stools where you could stand and see the ice/court. Probably installing stools as we speak though.

I think seeing the 8th avenue goal would be a problem from the West Balcony, unless you know someone in a bar stool seat who wouldn't mind you getting up close and personal.

Other option is the time-honored, pre-renovation practice of standing behind the 400s. It's so dark up there these days if you just wear dark clothing no usher will know you're there.

Lol the ushers up there chase you away all the time now for whatever reason. Even in the middle of the play they're telling you to get to your seat which is followed up by everyone yelling at the guy telling him you have to wait for a whistle

Ones in the end zones, they're the new navy blue seats and are one level higher than the current 300's.

For the road games they will have viewing parties but probably not the home games.

We're any of the viewing parties the last couple of seasons for just the road games?

Only times I sat upstairs this year I was in row A so didn't notice if they let you hang around in the back. I got some playoff seats in 401 and 428 which should be pretty bad so I'll definitely find out and report back.

Man, these prices are ridiculous. Was planning on getting from SH, but don't really want to spend 150+.

I remember back in 07 picking up a pair vs. ATL in the 1st Round for 60 each.

Face for the first round in the 400's I believe was somewhere between 35 and 40. I have my ticket from the double OT win against Buffalo and face on that was 45. Hard to believe that the tickets next year for the regular season will cost more than a 2nd round playoff game 5 years earlier.

Unfortunately for everyone prices always go up. Since 2007 my salary has gone up and my 457 account has but not as much as my season tickets. It seems like the tickets go up at around double the rate of the average income.

I was able to get 4 tickets in section 401 to game 3 vs Atlanta for $60 each from TM.

Forget now.

For what you pay for these tickets, just go out and buy a 65" HDTV. These sport owners are taking advantage of the average fan. I will not resort to spending $150 a ticket for noise bleed seats for a first round playoff game. Bettman preached how the Lockout was for the fans, how the Salary cap would help reduce ticket costs, yea right, all it does is increase owner profit margin!

It's not really the owners here, it's the market prices. If people refused to pay $150 for nosebleed seats they wouldn't be $150. You're competing with people who either have a lot more money or are willing to sacrifice other things in their lives to go see the Rangers play

I don,t know where you are getting your prices. The Rangers are charging $75 for 400,s and $102 for 300,s and that is before the 10% discount not $150 for seats. They don,t start charging those prices until the finals. The Rangers have not been to the finals in almost 20 years so I can see a premium being charged. $75 for a playoff game is reasonable in NYC
