I'm staying at Le Centre Sheraton this week for a business trip. I was looking to go buy some clothes (I didn't bring many pants because I was hoping for better weather) and somewhere to go eat/drink.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the closest/best microbrewery would be (ex: 3 brasseurs?) and the nearest "mall" (anywhere with a winners or something?).

I was just there from Thursday-Sunday
There is a Winners at the Place Montreal Trust, on St. Catherine Street a few blocks over from you. "the block before Eaton Centre"
There are tons of stores in there and in Eaton Centre, and even along St. Catherine Street to buy pants.
For the Brew Pubs... Brutopia on Crescent is close, and there are two different Trois Brasseurs within walking distance.
And if you are looking for a bar, I heard that Le Saint-Ciboire is a really good one.
Anyone know a good bar near Honoré-Beaugrand?
I live in Anjou which is near Honoré-Beaugrand and everthing is pretty residential or industrial. Downtown will always be the place to go out. My favorite bar is Chez Baptiste on Mont-Royal and I do the trip by subway. The only so-so bar in the area would be 3 brasseurs who brew directly their beer in the bar earning them a 1st world medal recently.
Read the first post, just not sure how up to date it is on bars. Going to be in Montreal from monday through thursday night next week. Wondering if it will be difficult or easy to find a bar with the Rangers game. Staying at the Comfort Hotel & Suites, 1600 St Hubert Street. Anyone have any suggestions for where I should try. thank you.

You will not likely find a bar with the Peinguins vs Rangers because at the same time the habs will be playing the canes. You'd able to see from your hotel room. If the games would be on different dates you would be able to see it in a bar. Try La Cage aux sports they often show many sport event at the same time and they might switch games in between periods, although I wouldn't count on it.

Heading to Montreal tomorrow morning for a show at Cafe Campus. I'm going to be there through to Sunday as well so I'll have a full day to play tourist. I have been to Montreal when I was very young and on a couple of class trips, but this will be my first time as an adult.
I'm staying at a friends in Mile end, which I hear has a lot of pretty cool signature Montreal destinations. Seeing as how the Habs and Leafs play Saturday I was thinking of at least checking out the scene around the Bell Center as well.
So just a couple of questions-
How far is Mile End from the Bell Center? Walkable?
Anyone spend any time at Cafe Campus that could tell me what the place is like?
Hey everyone, me and some friends are heading to Montreal (we're from Ontario) for the first time in a couple of weeks. We're gonna stay for 4 or 5 days. What are some of the best things we should do there? Thanks.

Metro would be the best way to go. it would be a really long (but fun walk)
according to google it would be 51 min. Go down St-Laurent, then head to the latin Quarter, through Ste-Catherine and the underground and then head to the Bell Centre.
