For the love of God, somebody, anybody just lay into Flash in the first five minutes of the game and he will go missing thereafter for the remainder of the night.
Ward hasnt shown me anything all season. But i tend to agree, for 3m we are paying him give him a chance to earn it.
But wait a minute, Ward has a +12 rating, the best on the team. Right there that's proof of how valuable he is, just like Jeff Schultz two or three years ago with his +51 team leading rating.
<sigh> in reference to Ward. I remember reading his comments after he was scratched and got the impression he wasn't going to change what he was doing while Hunter expected more offensively. Anyway, here's the read.............
For the record I would rather see Holtby get the nod tonight.
Sure pick your poison but I actually have less faith in Neuvy now only because I havent seen a decent sample size on Holtby. He learned, dont hold the puck like an idiot, panic and whip it to Sarge. Green knows to never lead him with a pass, the rest are learning.
This year was supposed to be Holtby and Neuvy anyways. George told the world 24 hours before Koun fell into his lap. Neuvy has had his chance for a year now and remains inconsistent.
Uh, if anyone had played up to their potential this season, we would have clinched. Blaming it on Semin and not everyone else is just dumb.
I'm not exonerating anyone other than a small handful. That being said, Semin and Green have been the worst underperformers on the team. And we count on them heavily.
To me, his talent is worth getting him a center and a coach and seeing what he does. He's never had one of those two things, and with just the other he was outstanding.

I don't know. I think Neuvirth should easily be the starter tonight.
Holtby had his shot in a big game and was pretty much the main reason we lost. He was pretty brutal and visibly shaken. He's not ready for the big spotlight like this just yet. He needs to marinate a bit longer and ease into this kind of position.
Neuvirth played in 9 playoff games last year and looks to be the more steady of the two at this point. But in now way has he been anything other than mediocre this year.
