But in Back to the Future part 2, Miami's mascot wasn't the Marlins they had an alligator.
Anyway, one more day!
Pssst... You missed the point. And yes, I knew it was an alligator. Anyhow, Conger got optioned down to AAA Salt Lake. Good. He needs to get a lot of playing to make up for last year's debacle of his learning curve. So that means two of the Clippers' top prospects will be playing together: Trout and Conger. And possibly Richards, if he doesn't become the fifth starter.
So apparently cops showed up at Torii's house with guns drawn, too bad they couldn't give him a shot in the foot so Trout could be in the lineup
I'm hoping we can trade Bobby though, God bless him for teaching all of our young guys like Aybar how to be patient at the plate but I don't think he has a place on the team anymore, especially when once again Trout could replace him on the roster (I know I have a woody for Trout ) and trade him for another reliever maybe, I'm not sold on our bullpen right now
Bobby of course. I just feel bad for him. I don't think he's as useless as he seems compared to the rest of the team, but no one wants him at the price Dipoto is selling.
Izturis or Callaspo. They've played well enough to be worth something, and barring some bad luck where there is no one left to play 1st and 3rd, I think trading one or both of these guys for some relief is a good idea.
I am glad the Angels won with a great 8th but Trumbo had 2 errors and obviously needs some more work at 3rd.
Yeah I can't believe he missed that foul fly.
Too bad Albert didn't get a hit. Other than that, Kendrys looked good, and there were a couple hits including one by Albert that looked like they were swung on just a millisecond off from a homer.

The errors by Trumbo is expected. It's Trumbo's bat that's what the Angels need in the lineup. Fortunately, the errors didn't lead to runs and Trumbo helped produce the five run eighth inning. Great hit by Aybar and did you see "fleet" Pete run from first to HOME on the Aybar hit?!
Props to both Weaver and Royals' starting pitcher Bruce Chen. I didn't expect that kind of dominance from Chen, who got batters into 0-2 at least six times. Ate up Angel batters.
Ohhh... did you see Abreu's face in the dugout... he's soooooo not happy.
I really look forward to the rest of the Angel games this year.
Its a little similar to the Duck's years in making a run for the Cup. Paying big money for Pronger and Neids didn't make a lot of fans outside Anaheim very happy. Signing Pujols has made a lot of enemies.
People will be happy to point out every Angel loss, and I hope Albert is ready to have all the fingers point his direction right away.
Heh, after this Opening-Day win, there's already trolls around the world posting about AP going hittless, and forecasting a collapse of the city of Anaheim, as we can't afford to pay him 25 mil or whatever when he's 38 years old.
Mike will NOT keep putting Trumbo at third if he makes alot of mistakes, he values defense to much.
That's not to say the plug is pulled quickly, Mike will give 40-50 games and see if there is improvement.
Luckily we have Callaspo and Izturis who are plus defenders.
I like this team alot. Elite starting pitching, with Morales looking good(hit a shot, but ball doesn't carry at night) and Wells can't possibly be as bad as he was last season....this group will score runs in a variety of ways, I am a big Bourjos fan. If Wells doesn't perform, an outfield of Trout/Bourjos/Hunter is sexy if you're a pitcher.
If any of you have kids that are aspiring pitchers...have them watch Jered Weaver closely, he is so good at situational pitching and doesn't do it throwing as hard as he can
Garbage game, but on a bright side Kendrys was 4/4 with 3 singles, 1 double and two runs.
Yep bad game and Haren was OFF and Royals starting pitcher was ON. Glad to see Morales producing so fast even though the running looks awkward. Pujols is maybe trying too hard atm...just chill...you are the machine.
