Beer. Lots of it.

I usually start about 6:00 right after the Redskins Report since the Sportsnet central (or whatever that show is called) will usually lead with the Caps in big games and focus on them thru the show.

I try and have 2 or 3 in me before the puck drops to ease the horror of having to root for the Caps in big games.

Make sure you don't wear a jersey/shirt that is in a "slump".

he's been pretty darn good with MP in the second half of the season as has MP. Chimera hustles and works his butt off but not sure he should be a top 6. Would like to see what an Kuznetsov/MP/Semin line can do but that maybe a bit far fetched.

I'm fine with that. In fairness though, if you need linemates to perform, you're a complementary player and ought to be paid as such.

There's a lot of blame to go around. But to me, the buck stops at BB. If he didn't suck so bad to get himself fired... we wouldn't have had Hunter as the coach.

Ovechkin says hi. A 60 point season is atrocious; not to mention the lack of effort and little-to-no improvement in his D game. The spurt toward the end may have vindicated him in the eyes of many.

By this time of the year you have to pick your guy and ride him. I'm rolling with 20 to the bitter end (over 26 and 15).

I'm not worried. Nothing much went right for the Caps on Tuesday night so tonight the tables get turned.

What went wrong? Toronto goes out to an early three goal lead only to blow it with some help by the refs. Florida goes out to a lead only to blow and still win. The Caps blow a lead to Stamkos........errr, I mean the Lightning in the last minute. Did the Caps have a timeout to burn in the last minute?

Tonight will be different. Caps win and Buffalo and Florida lose in regulation. Book it.

I promised myself I wouldn't get angry if the Caps don't win. If they don't care to win these next two big games, then I don't care either.

Go Caps!

If they do well over the next two games, they make the playoffs

If they don't, and miss the playoffs, I save money on playoff tickets, Dale is almost assuredly gone, and GMGM might be as well.

I win either way.

Really?

For me it will be hard to forget the season in which the best coach we've had (at least in my memory) gets fired because... i don't know... mutiny? OV 60+ Pts season, DH losing his image... not to mention this team was supposed to compete for the 1st overall. The only thing can make me forget this **** season is a long, long run in PO's, and Conn Smythe like performance by OV...

...Pipe dream.

I wouldn't say forgotten but a sigh of relief yes. Any sort of improvement next season would sadly enough feel good compared to this season.

I really don't see what it matters if we win and get in anyway. These Caps can't hold it together for a whole playoff series anyway. **** they couldn't get past the 2nd round when they were at the top of their game the past few years, what makes anyone think they will now!?

yeh but have you seen the way Lundquist has played this year? No way in hell that if we can't put points on Miller the way he's played, that we can do it to Lundy!!

True but us out of all fans should know regular season means crap. Lundy can choke in the playoffs or he may continue to play lights out.

You never know. Yes the odds are against us but I still think there should be some hope

This is the main thing. There is no question in my mind it affects the outcome tonight.
