Not a particularly threatening offensive lineup. Simmonds has 28 goals and Read 23, but replacing Briere with Schenn is a massive downgrade in the playmaking category. Talbot and Voracek have 19 and 18, respectively, but that to me seems based off easy minutes and depth. Neither of those guys have ever really shown a flare for offensive talent.

There's a reason the Flyers are under .500 without Briere in the lineup.
If you don't think Voracek has offensive talent, you're nuts.

Since Ehrhoff and Myers have both been out, we have played horrible team defense and have looked confused and disorganized our own zone.

We have yet to show that we can fix that with those 2 big D-Men out of the lineup.

If that is not fixed tonight, we lose. If we do fix that, we have a chance to win.

All other discussions, rationalizations, and arguments are trivial in comparison.

No doubt he has the talent, but it hasn't transitioned to the ice yet.

He has potential. He hasn't necessarily done anything with it yet.

'Nuff said.
Two of them are on the same line, and Simmonds has only been good riding shotgun with Briere.

Nothing wrong with 48 points in 76 games from a 22-year-old. Voracek is a solid piece of scoring depth for Philly.

They have two real great defensive lines but I can't see a lot of secondary scoring there. And they only have 3.5 defensemen just like us.

Actually feeling pretty good about this one considering the motivational differences.

If Regehr-Sekera and the Roy line are stapled to Giroux, we'll be OK.
Just wanted to point a few things out:

1) Flyers have 26 goals in their last 6 games.
2) Out of those 26, only 3 have come from Giroux, Hartnell, or Jagr

BTW, I hope you guys get into the playoffs even though I'm hoping for a Flyers win tonight. I'd much rather have you guys play the Rangers.

Sekera had a bad game on Tuesday. We need him to bounce back for sure tonight, he's gonna have to be the secret defensive weapon we all know he is.

Woohoo! Just locked up tickets to the game tonight, driving to Philly shortly (from NYC area). So pumped for the game, hoping to make it out of Philly alive. Please pray!

Slightly disingenuous considering those three guys plus Briere have accounted for 19 assists in those 6 games. That's not exactly a compelling argument for this particular lineup's scoring depth.

That said, thanks for the well-wishes

Philly helped us out last season to get into the playoffs... I don't think they repeat tonight.

C'mon Sabres.

Because we're not missing any players without whom we have a terrible record, right?

We got worked last game by the likes of Tyler Bozak, Jake Gardiner, and Clarke MacArthur. You're selling Philly's offensive depth very short.

To be specific, the team is 30-13-3 with Myers and Ehrhoff in lineup, 9-18-7 with one or both out of the lineup.

I didn't check but I'd imagine the record with both out of the lineup is downright scary.

This could be ugly, I'll be watching this with my Brother. If they beat us and stop us making the playoffs...uugh.

After Tuesday it's 2-1-1 actually.

It's pretty much up to Miller. The 4+ GA in each of the last four games isn't entirely on him, but he hasn't been sharp recently. He needs to set the tone early.

2-1-1 with both out, if I recall correctly from the postgame show on Tuesday.

Downright scary...

Didn't realize there was only 4 games where they'd both been out.
