I'm more like you. I just want to see the team compete, and let the chips fall where they may. Having said that, this is the first time that I have seen the habs in the thick of the lottery race, and I never want to experience it again. The mixed emotions in winning and losing in these situations just drives me crazy.
Exactly. I'd like to see the Habs play their hardest, but you're right in the statement that many hockey players play their hardest... no matter the circumstance. That quote "I just want to see the team compete, and let the chips fall where they may" is a perfect example of my state of mind.

(Short story) That soldier is the Iraqi minister of defense, I think or something, anyways he was on TV saying how everything was under control while in reality, the US forces were swarming Saddam Hussein's palace and taking over Baghdad. The Chief denier of truth.

Thanks Rammut, that's it .

If you want your team to lose, I wouldn't play Mayer. Canes have a knack for letting rookie goalies or goalies playing for the first time that year look like Vezina winners.

I'm going to be ****ing PISSED if we win tonight.

If we end up picking 6th or 7th overall, I think I'll punch a hole in my wall.

that guy was so awesome. I remember seeing a parody that showed US troops swarming in the background while he was saying that they were nowhere near Bagdhad and that the Republican Guards had the US army on the run.

Special thanks to donghabs98 for his 23rd and last GDT of the season, our most prolific GDT maker.

Once again, great job

I hope the Staal line is matched up against the DD line to try an contain them a little bit by having pressure in our zone.

What have we become

That's step 2.

Step 1: Sit Markov. No where near Eric Stall please. I'm not saying he did something wrong last time, I just don't want history to repeat itself.

Typical no pressure team that underachieved all year.

I'm sure giving the fans something to cheer for is a motivating factor in their wins, I wish we could somehow tell them that they need to lose instead.

Hehheh, the odds of that happening again are astrinomically low. Rather just play him and if he gets injured we know what we have to do.

Rest assured, mathematically we can't finish more than 4th worst overall, and that's if the Islanders don't make two points of the next two games. The habs can win the next as it won't make much a difference as they either have 17% or 15% chance of getting the first pick and if they don't they will likely get Grigorenko anyways since Edmonton needs a D man.

We're not starting a goalie from the Iserlohn Rooster in the German league (no joke) like Tampa Bay yesterday, or a no name who was playing this season in the ECHL like the Leafs. We're way above those shenanigans...

We still believe!!!

We should unleash the Gomez, it's the only way the tank can survive.

Said this in a earlier GDT:

''If we score the first goal I'm really scared, and by scared I meant I will probably injure Cole's knee. And by injuring Cole's knee I meant I will kill him in front of his teammates so they are scared to win one more game.

haha joking but god damn Cole stop scoring so many goals.''

I don't think I'll be joking anymore, COLE!
