He's sore today and dealing with more than just the lower body injury suffered last night when he was hit from behind going for a loose puck and fell awkwardly into the boards.
Going to get another evaluation but Providence up in the air right now. May just shut it down and let him heal.
Matt Mangene F of UMaine (a die hard Bruins fan) has signed with the...Flyers. The B's were one of the 4 finalists for his services. So, the B's are still looking for more collegiate talent.

Cant be much of a Bruins fan to sign with the Flyers
**** in that picture it appears he chose to shoot on the lowest possible location percentage wise for a goal. A lot of open net. Great job for Camara and a huge goal

1. Dougie Hamilton (Niagara)
2. Jared Knight (London)
3. Anthony Camara (Barrie)
4. Tyler Randell (Kitchener) - albeit currently suspended, eligible to return after 6 more games if Kitchener is still playing. He did have two goals in the post-season opener before his incident
5. Tommy Cross (BC)
Knights lost 5-2 to go down 2-1 in the series. Knight had a fantastic breakaway goal and an overall great game, one of the few Knights players that played well. Knights are in trouble IMO, their MVP of the season by far, the goalie Houser looks really tired because the Hunter brothers are never fans of using a back up so he plays almost every game. The Spirit have a 17 year old draft eligible keeper Paterson who is playing phenomenal. With Houser slowing down the Knights' defens crew looks very average and the Spirit have guys like Saad and Trocheck up front who are tremendous talents. I think this Knights team is a little too soft up front as well, Knight is one of the few equipped to handle the rigors of playoff hockey.

if Knight played that well that is pretty amazing because he's banged up and I didn't even think he was going to play; if they go down I think he's going to be coming right here although he might be better going home resting up and start getting ready for Development Camp in July than hanging around as insurance
gotta laugh at the crap Colborne is getting on the Leafs board as a potential bust. Burke all along wanted Knight and would have taken him by himself without the draft picks imo. The Hockey News lists Colborne as 18th best prospect in top 50 and Knight nowhere on the list. If JK stays in one piece three years from now he'll be Boston's version of Ryan Callahan and I'll say a more physical one, He's got Eric Cole speed off the wing and the heart and balls of former Buffalo Bills special teams captain Steve Tasker.

I know he's not technically a B's prospect anymore, but I'd like to mention how enigmatic he is. When he joined the Marlies, he was ripping up the league. Upon his last re-assignment the the minors, according to the Leaf board, he's lost all vigor. Does anyone think he has the work ethic and heart to make it to the show? I'm so thankful that CHia stood pat and kept Knight, certainly a commodity. Tough, quick and will play a role on this team that we will certainly appreciate. I doubt, honestly, he puts up big numbers (just a feeling, he very well may. I ain't no expert!), but I see him bringing energy and heart 60 mins a game. I'm very excited about the future!

Good to hear Jared Knight had a good game.
Alexander Khokhlachev was a good pick last year in second round draft but Brandon Saad is unreal not sure the Bruins should have taken him instead.

Yeah Saad is unreal, so big and talented. There were a lot of question marks about Saad last year (which may be attributed to a groin injury) and Khoklachev is practically a full year younger and mighty talented himself so I'm ok with it. Too bad Khoklachev doesn't have Saad's size.

3rd star in a 5-2 loss says it all. Not the greatest pic, but here's Knight's perfectly placed shot for his goal http://yfrog.com/ockh2uaj
As for London's defence, Maatta had a good game, Harrington is more banged up than we know, and not only did Tinordi twist his ankle, but banged his head hard on the ice ( in the first period ) and still came back to finish the game. As of 7 am this morning, he may have a (yes here's that word) concussion. Will know more later today. The top 2 definitely played injured last night.
Agree on Paterson. Has been playing great since February. Probably why he's shot up CS final rankings

Why would they give Colborne crap. He did get 8 goals and 14 assists in his final 55 games this year. I like Joe a lot, but I am really glad Chia held firm and kept Knight.
