Haha, I noticed that.

Anyone else hoping that the Marlins do squat? Sick of all the hype. That team finished in last place last season. I don't think adding Jose "contract-year"/"Softer than Charmin" Reyes, Carlos Zambrano, Mark Buehrle, and Heath Bell changes all that much.

I can't wait for the inevitable meltdown in the clubhouse.

God it would be so awesome if they got no-hit in their first game there. Agree that I would love to see them suck because if they do the fans won't go and they'll have to dump guys in trades like they did in the 90s

Ugh, dammit. Reyes broke-up the no hitter.

$106m well spent. Surprised Reyes didn't pull the hammy on the way to first.

There is a LOT of room in that ballpark.

Don't worry. He will. Reyes is pretty much the MLB-equivalent to Tim Connolly.

Gotta love the Marlins building a new stadium that keeps their best hitter in the ballpark.

It's tough trying to remain focused on baseball all year for me. I mean, I've even stopped playing fantasy baseball this year for the first time in probably 15 years.

I'm hoping that trying to start teaching my 2 year old the game may re-ignite my interest. Hopefully I can get him to at least one Red Wings or Bisons game this year.

****'s good. I have it all the time. Also can't wait for the BoSox season to start tomorrow. Verlander vs. Lester should be a real treat, and I get to go to the game on Satuday.

Infante was out by a mile. I'd like to know what the ump was looking at.

Took Angel Hernandez long to blow his first call. God he's terrible.

Is anyone getting the Red Sox and Tigers on ESPN? Guide says they are, but they're not showing it as all. Lucky I have FSDetroit.

Good to see our offense show up today. First Frediot move of the season: letting Constanza bat with Pastornicky at 3rd and 1 out. Guy shouldn't even be on the roster let alone batting against a lefty in a huge spot.

Great offensive performance today by Atlanta. I love Fredi ball!

At least Pastornicky and the pitching staff looked good.

Why not call in Hinske with Pastornicky on 3rd? At least he may have been able to get the sac fly.

Because Fredi thought it would be better to have this guy come in.

It really made no sense. If he didn't double switch when he brought Medlen he wouldn't have put himself in that spot. Instead he did and figured since he already put Constanza in he might as well leave him. Honestly, it might seem a little bold, but the right play would have been to use Francisco there since the Mets brought a lefty. It's a tough spot for a kid in his first game but I think it would be right since it gets R/L matchup and it also saves Hinske. But it's such a big spot that they should have used someone besides him, be it Hisnke or Francisco. I wish we had someone else that play catcher to use Ross there but that's irrelevant, no team really does. I can't wait for Chipper to come back just so Constanza goes back down. He really shouldn't have made the team over Durango or Sutton.

One game and Fredi already sucks.
