The suspensions seem light to me, except for the goalie. I don't blame him for what he did after being confronted by Flick during the timeout. The one game for him seems fair. Flick deserves to be suspended for at least the remainder of the regular season and the guys who left the penalty box should have got something similar.
I thought it was a minimum 6 game suspension for leaving the bench to fight. I imagine leaving the box carries a larger suspension. I know this is an unusual situation, so I know they won't automatically suspend everybody who left the bench. I figured there would be serious repercussions for some of the players involved. 3 games just doesn't seem that severe for what happened when I've seen guys get suspended for several games in the past for leaving the bench.
I just watched the video. Okay, fine the Rockford GM for illegally being on the bench. Isn't there anybody on that team that has respect for the rules and opponents?
I doubt the GM was on the bench. This would be the only game he has ever been on the bench and I heard from a reliable source he was not on the bench, only Dent, Poapst, and Simon were there.

I watched the video but that only shows a snippet of the game. This never would have happened if the goalie didn't attack Flick. He lost his composure. This is what guys like Sean Avery and Nolan Yonkman do. Do I like it on the ice? No. Does that mean I do not like them off the ice? No. Stortini is also the same as these guys. So pot, meet kettle!!

Not shocked. McIntyre barely got anything for his actions a couple weeks ago.
Refs should be suspended too. It's partially their fault for not even noticing Flick being infront of the goalie during a timeout. I mean how ****ing braindead do you gotta be?

What? Flick skated 75 feet in the wrong direction to confront Smith, who was standing in his crease.
Rob Flick is a first class POS. A couple of weeks ago, when Rockford played here, Selleck and Brookbank squared off at center ice. They each threw their helmets off and started sizing each other up. As they engaged, Flick skated by and hit Selleck in the back with the blade of his stick. Naturally, the Rampage took exception. 30 some seconds later, Justin Vaive went after flick and proceeded to throw him around like a rag doll. The whole time Flick was getting destroyed, he had that same stupid ass grin on his face.
He really doesn't take the stuff he does seriously. And he's going to end up getting hurt over it.
Because his vision sucks? Or he can't look down below his perch to see Bernard sitting on media row?
Or maybe the idiot doesn't even know what the GM or Ben Simon looks like? He probably though Ben Simon was the GM. They both have hair, unlike Poapst.

Where the heck is that ignore button again?
Smith should have hit his ignore button. Heck, year ago the Moose would have Mel Angelstad on the bench and every time out he would get off the bench and just skate around, getting into the other teams head. he would skate right near their bench, etc.
I do not condone what Flick did nor the refs but it looked liked he skated by once and Smith lost it and attacked. Maybe he called him a bad name, like a frog.
Point is, Smith lost his cool, got tossed, and probably cost his team a win and a shot at the playoffs. Flick did his job.

Hutton was tossed too. He beat the Admirals 8 times this season. I will take that trade of goalies.
Frog? Is that a slur toward French Canadians? Smith is from Detroit or Dearborn.
Milwaukee just won for the second game in a row at Charlotte. The brawl lit a fire under the team. Their playoff chances have increased from 45 to 60% since that game, not including an increase for tonight. If Peoria loses in regulation tonight, Milwaukee will jump all the way up to the 8th spot from 11th. Peoria has played 2 more games than Milwaukee. Rockford is in 12th, also with 2 more GPS.
