Our team has no character. Really? Come on, really?
No retaliation after our emerging star player gets cheap-shotted? Is this some kind of joke? This team will get nowhere with this type of mentality. They play for themselves.
Who was on the ice that was going to fight Orpik? Richards? Gaborik? Del Zotto or Callahan probably should have, but you don't need them risking an injury in a fight.
“It’s a cheap dirty hit. I wonder what would happen if we did it to their two whining stars over there. I wonder what would happen. I am anxious to see what happens with the league with this. There is just no respect amongst the players.
It’s one of the most arrogant organizations in the league. They whine about this kind of stuff all the time and then look what happens. It’s ridicuouls…they will whine about something else over there about their two ******* stars”
Tortsy I <3 you. ****ing piece of **** organization.

I wasn't here to watch the game as I was going out smoking blunt, but I knew there would be a dirty play by a Penguin player. Where was John Scott tonight?
They know they can get away with it because the league has hitched their success to Crosbaby. It is really close to looking like a serious lack of integrity.
Right on; I'm really ****** fed up with the Pens bull**** cheap hits; Tort's post game was an absolute classic!
I love hearing how the Knicks won on both MSG channels. Absolutely love it. More so than the fact that they cut off the Rangers post game to make sure people have that insurance channel, just in case they got tired of MSG1
And get someone else hurt or suspended? Real smart thinking, there. Leave that dumbass **** to the Flyers. I'm still stunned that breathing on a Pitt player isn't an automatic 3.
It's about sending the message that you don't get away with that sort of garbage against the New York Rangers at any point in any game, especially not at the end of game 81 when you're up by 3. Did Rupp think about maybe getting hurt when he went nuts on Kopecky? Didn't look like it, and I was really glad he didn't because that was a message that needed to be sent. This is another one of those situations in my opinion.
Plus, that stuff the Flyers did was smart. Pitt knowns now, if you play dirty against the Flyers, you're going to pay for it. The only guy that got hurt (correct me if I'm wrong) was Briere because he got crushed by a clean hit. Laviolette embarrassed the hell out of himself by going so nuts, but the Flyers' players were smart IMO - they sent a very clear message to their opponents. Playing dirty against them is going to cost you, period.
I wish nothing but bad things for that franchise. By far my most hated team in sports.

That main board thread is just wow. It's unbelievable. Not one of their fans can admit to that being a dirty play. They are the most spoiled fans in the league.
Torts was right on the money with those comments. I'm glad somebody said it.

They're even blaming Stepan for "moving at the last second". Yeah he did and then Orpik stuck out his knee you morons.
