That non-stop OT tonight was one of the best pieces of hockey I've seen all year.

Bench is right. Come on, Elysian. You wouldn't be the first diehard Stars fan to see the err in his ways.
*I'd post a picture of Hatcher and Hull too but I'm guessing most of you are too young to have seen them play for the Stars.

Florida has 18 loser points and has clinched the Southeast Division.
What a joke.

They're going to get stomped by the Devils.

According to NHL.com if Florida loses the next 2 in regulation and Washington wins their last 2 they could still lose the division.

The Devils have 12 SO wins, take away half of those they're tied with Florida. I've actually watched a lot of Panthers game this year and they're quite good at rallying comebacks and getting into OT for the point. They just tend to lose once they get there. Florida is 6-11 in SOs, if they won even a few more SOs they'd be one of the best teams in the leagues.
I'd say the Panthers are well deserved of their 18 "Loser" points since a lot of them have tended to be rallying to extra time, as opposed to blowing leads. Unlike the Stars, they don't give up when they're down a few goals.

Florida only scores 2.39 goals per game... that's not going to get it done in the playoffs.
BTW I love that Hank avatar.

Outside of 1 and 2, the 6th spots in both conferences are easily the best places to be right now.
Same

Frozen Four is on right now if anyone's interested. Union vs. Ferris St., 2 unlikely teams.

Honestly, it'd be pretty freakin hilarious if after all this time of leading the divisions, to see Florida blow it and not even make it cause they don't have enough ROWs.

Sabres up 1-0 after 2. Caps up 3-1 on the Panthers in the 2nd.
If it stays like this, Panthers will be two up on the Sabres and Caps with a game to go and could lose the division PLUS a playoff spot if they lose on Saturday. Unreal.

So much for that. Caps and Panthers both clinch a spot.

Gotta sting for Buffalo.
Congratz to both teams, though.

I hate both these teams so much. I don't know who I want to win the Division. I guess LA so Sharks can't hang another Pacific banner.

So glad to see the Sabres get dropped, not only because of my irrational hate for buffalo, but because it was so annoying seeing how hyped up they got over the offseason because they signed ****ing erhoff and leino.
