As far as Torts Presser comments; he is just saying what every one else in & around the leauge feels about the Penquins that aren't Penquin fans.
It appeared to me that way also.

Is it me, or does Fleury exaggerate EVERY glove save he makes?

Yeah, when you play not to get hurt, you sometimes end up getting hurt.

Agree with Torts' comments, but you have to wonder whose idea it was not to dress Scott for these past few games against division/conference rivals (Bos, Philly & Pitt), especially a game like tonight which meant nothing to us, and the Rangers had everything to lose (injury wise). He, like everyone else knows, they have dirty players, and Scott doesn't dress???

Yep. Was spearing Gaborik right in front of the ref, and got a ****ing warning. Yeah...that'll teach him.

Agree - been saying that since the minute we beat Philly, don't care about the President's trophy, dress scrubs Saturday.

Letang was going at it with Callahan the entire game.

Prince of Persia lookalike.

Didn't watch the game in it's entirety, but saw the "punch" Cally gave him in the first (or was it the second?) Letang pretty much just whipped his head back like Giroux did on Tuesday.

He's still swinging his glove from a save he made in the first period.

MachineHead had one of the funniest jokes I've read here yet. "Fleury is not done saving a shot from the first 1st Period. Word has it his glove is on the downswing, though."

Comparable to the Boyle shot so wide it crashes through windows.

I doubt Scott would have been on the PP and have been able to do anything about it.

Holy jesus. That thread made me wan to throw a brick through my neighbor's house. God dang. Delusional penguins fans saying how everyone whines when they have the lowest of the low regarding players and the special treatment. As for the front office? When the owners cry about cheap shots and have some of the biggest cheapie artists, and babied players around? Pheh... this would never fly 15 years ago. What happened to a fair game with respect to other players? Apparently the penguins feel they're above the rules

Seriously, Torts is my hero tonight. Always liked him as a coach but tonight's rant was amazing and spot on.

I don't understand what's so great about Torts unloading on the Pens after the game. Sure, his comments are true, but he should have had NYR handle this stuff during the game. There were 6 minutes left in a game basically meaningless to us. Down 4-2, you knew they weren't coming back. Should have had his players go after Crosby and Letang's soft melons. Letang was out there at the end too. You are not going to get respect in the league by playing clean and then *****ing afterwards. Letang shouldn't have finished the game without a concussion. Soft, gutless reaction by Torts and the team.

Well we can't have anyone suspended over a team that we may not even see after the first round, but in theory what you say is correct if this was say...10 games away from the playoffs.
