Best scenerio possible.. we lose and Nuge & Ebs got points. We aren't beating Vancouver. Second overall is locked up.

Whitney would be a great defenseman if he didn't have to think or move.

Gagner really needs to learn to hit the net or aim for the pads. He misses by anywhere between 2-8 feet on every slap shot and half the time it leads to a goal going the other way.

How is that Gagner's fault? That was all on Whitney.

It amazes me how often this team misses the net and it comes back to bite us.

The only thing missing was Smyth taking his patented slapper instead of Gagner.

Nice eff up by Whitney to end the home season.

God, that's frustrating. If it were Petry or Teubert making that mistake, I can give them a bit of leeway, but christ. Whitney is supposed to be one of our best d-men and a veteran presence and he somehow failed to notice RYAN GETZLAF was standing open behind him, and then proceeded to take a stupid rookie angle to the puck?

C'mon. Our "veterans" need to be a lot smarter than that.

Seriously Gagner, hit the ****ing net.

It would have been nice if he could have done that in regulation so we could have sewn up at worst the 3rd pick.

Whitney is just awful, i would look to trade him in the offseason and sign a real top 4 defenseman in his place.

At least Nuge got a point, he and Eberle turned it on in the 3rd which was good to see. Petry showed no ill effects from the injury, he looked very good.
Thank god the season ends on Sunday.

Oilers - "Hey, Oilers fans, thanks for another season of emphatically supporting perennial losers! Here's an embarrassing sequence leading to an OT loss goal for you to remember 11/12 by!"

Another loss after scoring the initial goal in the hockey game.

Gagner needs to get that shot on net and Whitney needs to, well, use his head.

Gagner begins his own demise with that stupid shot. Good bye Gagner, hello Grigorenko!

Just missed the net Gags - I can't wait to see you play for a different team.
1 more and I won't have to feel like punching myself in the face on game nights.

Got Golf?

At least we didn't lose to the flames when leading after 2 periods today.

Islanders won tonight so we are guaranteed 3rd at worst.

But can always have someone behind us win the lottery.

Yup. If we win our last game and the Habs loses theirs, we'll end up with the 3rd overall pick.

We have 2 more Regulation/Overtime wins, so we'd win the tiebreaker.
