Thoughts on his game tonight? Thought he was a little sloppy at first but i thought he came around nicely. Skated really smoothly and made a few nice plays with the puck.
I think he came as advertised. A smooth skating defensemen with a good outlet pass. Hopefully he builds on the game tonight. I don't think he looked terrible but definite room for improvement.
Anyone know what pairing he plays in Houston? I didn't see anything that says he belongs as a top-4 D-man in the NHL.
He seemed to be alright out there, but he played less than 12 minutes in a game with 5 D, one of which being Foster. If those aren't sheltered minutes, I don't know what is.

Partially sheltered minutes, partially "Gilbert and Scandy are playing like gods so lets keep them out there"
I think it's been the case for most of our prospects with management and the approach they take with them, our prospects. They seem to shelter them and tend to ease them into playing time rather than just throwing them into the waters and seeing if they can swim. I think we'll see Cuma get more minutes on Saturday, which wouldn't necessarily be hard to do.
He looked alright, didn't stand out good or bad. More mobile than I thought he'd be. Not ready for the NHL game at this stage. We'll see where he's at next season.
Chay Genoway, please!

I thought he looked decent even if he took a bad delay of game penalty at some point.
But yeah, he looked decent overall.
I don't know if that was necessarily a bad penalty... happened right in front of me... it looked more like he was just throwing the puck towards the glass without looking. I guess it's a bad thing to do without looking... but that was more bad luck than anything.
