We have some whiners on the Pens, but Torts, the Rangers and their fans have no room to talk about whining since it's all they do themselves. Same with Flyers.
I really wish the NHL would make these guys be a little more professional, especially the coaches. The players can whine and even the coaches can whine in the heat of the moment, but all of them need to get their childish **** together by the time the post game interviews start. No one wants to hear this crap.
I also love how Orpik is known for dirty hits when the only other one I can think of was ages ago against Erik Cole. Sometimes **** happens when it's split second decisions. No one was targeting anything. Orpik went for the hit and Stepan tried to avoid it. The result being a nasty collision of their knees. I'm sure both players would do things different if they could, but it's a split second decision.
At this pace, every player will be known for dirty hits.
Another game and more crying for Torts. He cries and rolls his eyes after a win or a loss anyway.

Its kind of funny but when the Flyers bump MAF all game long DB just puts out his checking line and he's a dirty coach. Why doesn't Torts, Jules or Lavy hit and fight if they feel like they're being taken advantage of... not in a cheapo Islanders way but just play hard, hit and have a legit fight?
I agree with the bolded part. Some posturing to possibly get the refs thinking out there but it still seems like more of teams/personel lashing out after being embarassed.
I really think I am level headed, I respect other people, I am always critical on my own kids, myself, my team so to see this moron whine and make afool of himself and this NHL is beyond anything I have ever seen in sports. If this was in NHL or any other decently run sport he would be severely punished, to call the league's two best players and face of that league f...... whining stars (btw when was Gino ever whining) he would be disciplined I am so pissed now I want them to win so these morons can suffer in their own anger and jelaousy...but Batmen and NBC better do something about this crap..

Everyone saying that it was smart for Dan not to have Geno out there is crazy. We were up by two goals, and their net was empty. You really think the best player in the NHL right now is going to be the difference that causes them to score two goals to tie up the game?

Why not just sit Geno for the entire game, then?
This is a dumb argument. You can't coddle a player because he might get injured in a game of hockey... Fifty goals is a huge accomplishment, and I'm sure Geno feels the same way. It wasn't going to lose us the game having Geno out there with Staal, and he wasn't any more likely to get hurt floating at the top of the circles, looking for an outlet pass.
I'm not saying ask him to throw his body into shooting lanes and grind in the corners. You throw him out there for the cheap EN goal, not to kill a penalty.

Calm down brother, there's still one game left. It's no secret that losing teams tend to get chippier at the end of a game, it makes sense not to play him.
I dont mind if they suspend Orpik. Its a tough call.
