Big talk from a guy who can't even get his team past round 1 of the playoffs. And don't forget in 2009-10 they didnt even make it in under Torts.

Can't wait to see that egotistical, overachieving, loudmouth crybaby and his team crash and burn.

Oh well, we will have our hands full and I won't care a bit about any of the other series until we have Flyers down and out.

Jealousy is a fairly unbecoming trait in people.

I think Torts will get what's coming to him if Ovi and the Caps have anything to do with it in round 1. Muahahahahaha

This guy wants to rant on the Pens arrogance with Sather and The Queen around him all the time?Really???

And talk about whining. Is there a more whiney coach in the NHL than Torts. After a win, a loss, practice, brunch this guy rolls his eyes more than The Undertaker. As someone who lives in NJ I have the absolute pleasure of seeing Tortorella all the time. The guy is nothing more than a 24 hour b-fest. I'm expecting him to pop out of trash cans, have a big vein popping out of his forhead and just start complaining.

This has never been more appropriate:

Look, he can be pissed about the hit but when Brooks Orpik gets 5 and a game you don't get still yell at the refs. Then he just went on a run with the media like 'Well, I'm already whining, I may as well show what a true idiot I am". But whatever, I'm glad that Philly and the Rags are readying their excuses for losing to us. I'm only to happy for them to believe that we've got some unfair advantage from the league.

If this was the NBA or NFL, Tort would be fined like $50-100K. But NHL front office is gutless, so this sort of **** will continue

The Rags and the Flyers are already coming unhinged.. i love it personally. Let the Pens play their game and let these guys try to get revenge. They'll lose.

So Biron was going to skate down the ice and take him on. Someone should have followed up with "Well why didn't you?" Pretty easy to talk.

The irony of his comments after the Rupp/Staal knee earlier this year is just too much for me. What a hilarious buffoon.

I'm far from the hugest Orpik fan, and that was likely a suspendable hit.

That said, **** Tortorella. What the hell do Sid or Geno have to do with this? ****in' ***hat.

1.67 points per game, 1.45 points per game - they probably have a lot to do with it.

How many games did Rupp get for his knee on Staal?

Orpik should get that many games.

I doubt Orpik is going to face a suspension. . . I've seen much worse let go and I can't remember the last time he was suspended.

It's pretty amazing how the media is molding the game in all sports.

The coaches and players are learning to use the media to manipulate the game in their favor. Or what they think, in the moment, will benefit them.
