If not mistaken he is a defensive partner of Dietz?

I think it would be ideal for the Habs to pick up Dalton Thrower if he makes it to the 2nd round.

Montreal has 2 picks in the 2nd round. 1 which will be early and the 2nd will be late(NSH).

I think it could be a good thing for the defense to get 2 guys who are fimilar with one another and give them more time together possibly joining the bulldogs and getting that chemistry giving us a bottom pairing for the future. Thats if we could nab him in the 2nd.

That's what I thought. I'd love for Boston to get him late in the first. We need more D prospects and he seems like born Bruin with his style of play and toughness

No, Thrower played with 2011 first rounder Duncan Siemens for about 95% of the year. Dietz played with 19 year old Connor Cox.

I think we could see him go as high as 20-25, but I think 30-45 is likely more realistic.

If Edmonton takes a FW with their first pick I could definitely see Thrower being the guy taken in the 2nd round for them. He's got great offensive potential.

Travis Hamonic was 6'0 188 when he was drafted at 18. Hes now 21 and hes 6'2 215

Calvis deHann was 6-0 165 when he was drafted at 18. Hes now 20 and hes now 6'1 190



These boys should be graduating high school. They are still growing...

And its not like the kids 5'8, hes close too six feet and his wieght is good....

Anyway his size would not concern me when thinking about drafting him....

I hope he ends up falling to the 2nd round and the Isles grab him...

Only talked to Sutter about a few things but he said he met with the Avs, I asked him specifically. He also said that Dalton met with the Avs and that they were a great group of guys.
