This JT Brown guy is going to be a good one. The smarts are there and he doesn't look out of place on the ice with NHLrs.

Seriously, how in the hell can you not call that on Phaneuf? He slashed the **** outta Stammer. Hope to hell he's ok.

I'm not sure, were I in charge of everything NHL, that I wouldn't fire at least 1/2 of the officials. Is there a school that they can grow talent for officials or are we just stuck with this crop of pure **** for the future?

Had to come back to say, What in the **** are the refs watching? Oh wait forgot that the game is in Toronto, so that pretty much means **** you if you don't have a leaf on your sweater.

Maybe it's part of the plan...13GWG for Stamkos and 6OT winners.

Game they should've won..not that it matters. Pretty bad play by Lee all around there. Bad turnover then dives and takes himself out of the play.

Stammer could have been out for an empty net try, instead Connolly shows his true worth for this whole season. I shouldn't be frustrated....yet I am.

Stamkos gets his 59th.

1 game to get 1 goal.

Hope he gets 4 points as well.

Connolly scores his first goal since November! Yay! Oh, does redirecting the ******* thing in our net count? Unreal. He's been clueless the last 3 games, he needs to go live with Roberts the next 4 years and then sign an NHL contract. Jeez. That was set up for an empty netter and he blew it.

Our season in a nutshell was on display tonight....and out of all the guys to score....Dion Phaneuf. Shoot me.

We improve our draft stock though.

Lol, I understand that but man, we just got swept in the season series.......by the damn leafs!!

I can't say im disappointed in Connolly, its his first year but he hasn't really shown he can put up numbers, whether its goals or assists. It seems like he just panics when he touches the puck and loses it. Quite an abysmal year.

Only thing we can hope for now is ONE goal for Steven Stamkos, just ONE! Please!

Can only hope Mason is in net, Pavelec can stand on his head sometimes.

Not really...we lose on all the tiebreakers. 8th or 9th pick depending on what the Canes do in their last game and us against the Jets. That stinkin' point killed us tonight.

I watched all of about 5 minutes of the game due to baseball but I still tuned in just in time to see #59.

Mission Successful.

Congrats 91 on 59.. Gotta come natural, forcing it, like last game, is too predictable. Although "60" is cool, I have to agree with coach Boucher. He basically posed the question would 59 instead of 60 make Stammer any less of a player. No, it would not. Great season 91, everyone is proud

So the positive takeaway from last nights game is that Toronto only managed to score 2 goals in our net, not counting Brett Connelly's awesome tip in. That's improvement.

If we don't beat the Jets we'll finish the season with 12 road wins, which is exactly the same number of wins as the Columbus Blue Jackets. What the heck went wrong with the away games, since we managed to tie the franchise record 25 home wins?

One more year, Roli?? 1 year contract for $1 mil to play as backup, trade Garon + draft pick for Schneider...

No. No more years for Roli.

If the Lightning want to hedge their bets, they can invite him to camp, and should he just not make it, they sign him and send him to Orlando to be player/asst. coach so he's nearby and playing, but available for them should the need arise. It'd also be during this time with Orlando where he'd figure out what kind of coach he is. Is he a goalie coach, or is he a bench coach?

It doesn't fix TB's goalie coach...situation...or whatever, but I sort of have my doubts that anyone can retire, and instantly be a world class goalie coach, especially without a running start.
