Bit of nitpicking, but Joel Colborne and Jack Gardiner aren't part of the Toronto organization.
Nice write up though.
Thanks K Man - Ross had it correct in the 1st part of the write up, but we'll just give him a 2-minute minor for high-sticking on the depth chart portion.
It's now been edited.

Hmm, Trouba at 10 is interesting. There's a lot of good top end talent but he is one guy I think that could end up going higher than expected just because he has good size, skill and brings a physical game. In that mock draft, I absolutely cannot see Tampa passing up on Trouba. They need a defensemen and there is a lot of upside in that one.
But overall, a fairly good mock draft. I do hope somehow, Gally or Grig manage to fall to the Leafs. We need a potential #1 center sooooooo badly.
Don't know if it's just me, but the website doesn't seem to be working right now =(
Should be fine Fallenity - I haven't had issues just trying now.
Nasty Nazem: Great comment - believe it or not, I seriously had Trouba to the Lightning, but on last edit through changed to Gaunce - just a hunch, but sometimes shouldn't go against first intuition. I agree that Trouba could go even higher - I personally like some of the other guys better.
Appreciate that you stray from the norm, but question why you have Kulak ranked so highly.
Generally when Duncan Keith comparisons are made there is more offensive upside. You claim there to be more upside, but you need to back that up to me. Especially since you have Finn going right after, who upon limited viewings I prefer much more than Kulak who I've seen a half dozen or so times (none live).
Why Kulak over guys like Finn, Matheson, Pelech, Severson and Blujus (all guys I prefer to Kulak).
Don't get me wrong I like Kulak but more as a late 2nd/early 3rd.
As a Canuck fan I'd rather Thrower but I see you have him going mid 1st.
Finn and Matheson are both players I wouldnt be upset drafting either.
So much to say, but so little time today!
I think my comments in the article explain my thoughts on Kulak, but watch for more as I profile him more in depth before the draft.
As for the other guys mentioned, I like those guys well enough and stay tuned for the 2nd rnd part of the mock to come in the coming days as those guys jump off the board.
A couple of quick things on Kulak: You're definitely in the majority in thinking him more as a 2nd to 3rd rnder and that may very well be the case come June. He honestly is really a guy you have to watch live to appreciate all the more. Call it a hunch, call it what you will, but I really like what this kid has to offer in terms of where he's at in his development right now, how he processes the game, and the potential for growth that remains.
As for the offense, and this is just a quick snapshot obviously and I'm looking more to the future with Kulak, Kulak has 3 pts in 4 playoff games as compared to 1 pt in 3 GP for Finn. Obviously, this is not what I've based the mock draft (or my own rankings) on.
Time will tell!

Humm... I know I'd pick Trouba much higher than 10th -- as high as 5th, actually --, and while I absolutely like Dalton Thrower (if I'm GM of the Habs, I know I pick him with the 2nd rounder if he's still there), if he goes 15th, it's pretty much Thomas Hickey Part II.

MXD: wouldn't compare Hickey & Thrower at all...& can't see Thrower lasting until the 2nd round.
All I must say is that this draft has to be somewhat concerning when talking about the top-end talent when a player who only played 8 games all year (Galchenyuk) is considered a top 3 pick.

It's how Alex came back from the injury, the talent he displayed beforehand, and his potential for the future.
