Denis has improved throughout the year, to be honest I don't find him that monotone.

I'm glad Pedneault is gone, and that we only see Brunet between periods. (aka Smoke breaks )

Oh, I know. I didn't like Pednault either. Marc Denis is the man.

I miss the guy and his personality. His analysis bas pitiful and biased, but he was hilarious. I loved watching the four bros between periods: Pednault, Houde, Crete and Demers. They had amazing chemistry. Their insight was was far from the best, but it was good television!

Heck, I prefered Brunet to Pedneault. But still Denis is doing a way better job than both of them.

Monsieur Pednault? Did Pierre Gauthier start this thread?

In a perfect world Dube and McGuire would come to RDS but aside from those two i sincerely think Houde - Pedneault is one of the best duo out there.

Yes. Yes, I do.

Marc will be the man to take over Pierre Houde when he retires. He's intelligent, he's young and he's been playing all-over the league. We don't need dinosaurs like Pednault to come back.

I can't think of a good reason for missing him.

I liked that Pedneault always seemed to be more drunk than I was during games.

Pedneault's ace in the hole was his voice and his personality. His analysis was more often mediocre but his enthousiasm brought a lot to the shows. Yet when he was negative he was very annoying. So the highs were very high and the lows were very low. Denis in comparision has always the same tone. He's not that annoying but sometime he seems invisible. I rarely find him say something interesting between the benches. (Compared to Joel Bouchard who always saw stuff at the level of the ice that would add insight for the viewers)

Denis doesn't have the voice to be a PBP guy.
