Yeo said very doubtful Stoner can play Saturday, so IF Prosser is suspended, Genoway likely the guy. Depends on how league views it

Everyone lean forward and grab your ankles. Assume the crash position, because apparently it's the end of world.

If it's the end of the world, I'm out there partying and doing all the stuff I avoided doing that everyone else enjoys but might kill me.
No, were all grabbing our ankles for another reason entirely and I am not going into detail.

I really think people should stop with all the drama talk but maybe it's just me.

Drama and hyperbole is a coping mechanism.

If only Fel... if only. That would be like telling people not to breathe.

So you're saying those of us that aren't freaking out are more well-adjusted?

One thing is for certain, Wild fans are just as bi-polar as their team. We deserve each other.

Let's be in a lottery pick next season for the first 30 games, then move up for 1st place in the end. Sounds a lot better!

Well considering how Yeo's year in Houston went, that was actually how I imagined this year might go. Maybe not as high as first, but still high once things clicked. And indeed things did click, and things were good, but then... but then...

I traded the 7th Overall and Devin Setoguchi for Bobby Ryan and the 26th Overall.
How did I do?

Great, if it was a draft day trade and our guy wasn't there.
Poor Seto... back to California you go.

Ryan would be a nice add; hard to tell if overall that is a good trade, but my gut says hell yes.

That'd be a huge upgrade offensively from Seto. 30+ goals for a 20 goal guy, and a lot more consistency to boot.
But we'd need to make a move for offense, and badly.
What would be awesome in that situaish is to move Heatley to a contender for a late 1st and then try and swing a trade (late 1st + early 2nd or one of our high end prospects) to move back up and grab Trouba or get a good defenseman.
And then sign Parise and have a nice stock of US Olympians, present and future.

Well, I did get Schenn; though I paid a high price.
I have a ton of cap room, so I'm going to throw max deals at both Suter and Parise for the hell of it.

I always liked doing that when the cap space in NHL games greatly exceeds player expectations 30 seasons down the road. I pay some scrub like 10 million dollars just to meet the cap floor.
