Pruster and Lundy having some fun with Zooks on twitter. It is easy to see Mat's teammates like the guy a lot. I think/hope he will stay a Ranger next season.
Just great to see the guy´s attitude. So many blows this season, and he just keeps going strong and keeping his head up. I have no doubt he will be back.
Next season his bad luck is gone and stays with the team all season. Book it.
4-6 weeks to go tomorrow. I don't think he'll be back before an eventual SCF.
Who knows.... Could "only" be 3 weeks after the playoffs start till he´s back.
If the Rangers are down a couple games when he returns he might just be the man to send out on the ice, especially the PP.

Do you have a link? Cant fint those tweets from prust and Lundy, even though I follow them both.
Mats Zuccarello is not yet fine after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured left wrist he suffered blocking a shot by the Sabres’ Jordan Leopold on March 23. But he was in the Rangers’ dressing room today and said he just had the stitches out. Zuccarello still has his arm in a sling and a cast, though he frequently takes the sling off in order to facilitate the blood movement through his arm.
Zuccarello is able to do some conditioning work that does not involve skating or using his arms and while he said there’s no timetable for his recovery, he’s still hoping to play hockey this season.
“Of course, it would be nice to be able to play a little bit longer,” Zuccarello said. “I think I’m going to play. I think the season is going to go far and, hopefully, I’ll be back soon.”
obviously we all have bigger things to worry about with the playoffs, but zucc is suppose to be back 2nd round (if im not mistaken.) so what are we going to do with him after this season? i originally thought we would trade him at the draft but he looked so good in those few games we gave him before he broke his wrist so i kinda want him in our lineup. anyway will he stay or will he go whether it be by trade or him just leaving?
He'll probably get half a season give or take to leave a serious impression. He seemed to inject a little life in to the team while he was here, but who knows if that would have been sustained or what have you. If he doesn't, he'll be right back in Europe. I couldn't see too many other NHL clubs showing a ton of interest in him considering his cap hit is 1.75mil. Then again I don't really know how cap hits work/can change, I'm sure someone would at least give him a look.
Talent isn't the issue with this guy, its a numbers and cap game.
The question is if NY can get better mileage from another player with their cap money.
Zucc has to be a top 6 player to be in the NHL
So hopefully for him, he gets a legit shot at it. If not with NY then with another club.
As far as the 2nd round goes, lets see if NY can defeat Ottawa first. Karlsson had a Norris winning season and their forwards play the game tough. I think they match up very well with NY.
I think we see the blueshirts making sure that Karlsson is hit each and every time he touches the puck.

It would only take 945K to qualify him. I'm confident there are clubs in the NHL who'd take him at that cost, considering how he looked when he came back from the American League.
