To those of you that have used MLB.TV before

Couple of questions.

1) I know your home team is blacked out. Do they black out the replays too, or are those available for you to watch?

2) Condensed games. Are those the games without the commercial breaks, or do they take out unnecessary game footage that really doesn't mean much?

I recommend MLBTV completely. You can watch games set in sync with radio broadcasts. (at least on PS3 anyway)

I think I'm going to get it since the 360 has an app. I've read great things about it.

Another question. Most every game for the Diamondbacks will be on tv here, and they are blacked out anyways. But what about the days where we don't have local tv coverage? There are I think 3 games on the entire schedule where they aren't on local television. Would I be able to watch the other team's feed on MLBTV on those days, or am I just SOL unless I find a sports bar.

I'm pretty sure you're SOL if I read the terms and conditions correctly but all you need to do is use a proxy to hide your IP and you'll be fine.

Can you pause the games and buffer it? I don't have the greatest internet so I am curious if these are option before I think about buying a subscription.

I've used it on the PC the past couple years and I certainly have no complaints. My first test run with the 360 yesterday went smoothly, though they misspelled Pittsburgh...

You can. They have a MLB free game every day so you can test that out before you buy.

MLB.tv is the best streaming service of any of the sports. Well worth the money to me.

Same here. Except it usually blacks out around July for me.

I just started MLB.TV and I really like it except for one thing, the fast forward feature isn't very good. If I'm watching an Online game, why can't I fast forward through the "MLB.Com Commercial Break in Progress" screen to bring the game to maybe 2 hours instead of 3? I tried it this weekend and you don't know where to stop on the fast forward that you could miss some of the game. This is one thing I like about Gamecenter Live, the fast forward 10 seconds thing. Are there ways to watch archived games but make the game somewhat shorter?

I was at my parents over Easter, and the cable company is/was offering their traditional free trial of Extra Innings that they have at the beginning of the season and right after the All-Star Break. Apparently, someone "forgot" to block Center Ice so I got the last weekend of the regular season for free. My only complaint was that the CBC commercials were too broad to tell where the feed was coming from.
