I watched him at the rookie game between the Isles and Baby Bruins. He was noticeable on every single shift.

Physical, plays with an edge, tough, size, good passes.... I like everything the kid brings.

I am more excited at the prospect of him making it than most of the prospects. He has a ways to go, but when he is at the NHL level I think he will be a real physical force that all the other fan bases will remember with a frown on their faces.

To give credit where credit is due - leeroggy posted this article earlier in the day. Sorry, I was too quick on the trigger.

fwiw #1, his younger brother Ruslan played for LI Royals last year.

fwiw #2, I was playing hockey in Guelph last summer - people there associated with the team said to keep an eye out for Pedan, he should be a legit NHL Dman, plays with some snarl

I wonder if we'll invite his brother to kiddie camp, he's pretty tough too, he's playing in the NAHL and is 2012 draft eligible.
Andrey has a high ceiling IMO much like Hamonic did/does, he went from 12 points to 40 which was impressive. The only thing that might be a factor is he seems to take some bad penalties, so he needs to get some self discipline for that.

He could be a tank for us in the NHL. Big dman with a big shot and big hits. I love it. Hope he continues developing well
