If Phoenix loses today, I can't imagine why you'd rest players with home ice advantage on the line.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit, he came back early in 2010 from each broken foot and also came back vs Buffalo last year wearing a knee brace.

PHX is probably going to win, Carter and Slava will be rested Saturday.

I doubt very much that Carter plays tomorrow, and unless he is 90% healthy, he should sit it out and get more recovered for the playoffs.

Why does Voynov need to rest on Saturday?

Slava is banged up, he has been for a few weeks now.
You could notice it last night. Plus Davis needs to get into a game.

thx for the answer on Voynov.

If Phoenix loses their last game, then I think Voynov plays so that we have a chance to win the Pacific; otherwise, he can rest.

No need for Carter to play and take a chance of re-injury, save him for the playoffs on Wed...
