Which is fine because Tom Pyatt is excellent in his role.

I don't understand the infatuation with Wyman.

Yep, I like him but he can't win faceoffs (only 58 draws but only won 38% of them) and for his size he doesn't exert himself enough physically. He does have 11 points in 38 games though and brings a consistent effort, even though that consistent effort may not be enough overall. I can sort of see why Guy uses him, but yeah, that spot could use an upgrade.

If he could continue to produce the way he is now and actually get decent at draws, he might see some extended time here. Hall has only 7 points over 55 games.

NHL.com lists Wyman as a right wing. Is that incorrect? If he has a career in the NHL will it be as a center or as a winger?

Hard to tell. In Boucher's system there's just F1, F2, F3. For example: Adam Hall is officially a RW but has the 4th most faceoffs taken of the team - despite missing almost 30 games.

We saw lines like Purcell-Malone-Shannon (none of them are natural centers) followed by Stamkos-Lecavalier-Pyatt (three centers on one line).
