Look how he brings it out. Get outta here man, you're revealing that you are the biggest homer ever...

edit: They even then slow it down more. You have to be blind and the biggest homer ever not to see it -__-

Complete BS.

He was telling the truth.
I wish Bettman would just quit already.

That's probably a good idea. It's almost 4 in the morning here.

It's been... interesting... :-)

Don't be obtuse. The immediate press surrounding the NHL.

no not crosby personally.. but an eye for an eye.. orpik or vitale want to throw hits at rangers/flyers better players to try to hurt them.. i dont see why these teams dont start going after crosby and malkin? ok you take a 5 min penalty thats fine.

thats fine the league sees the pens as their team, thats fine.. but at some point another team, or another player, is going to take things into their own hands..

its gonna be a sad day for hockey when zac rinadol todd bertuzzi's crosby or malkin.

No, the coach attacked Crosby when asked about a hit from Orpik. Think about that for a second. THEN Crosby responded by saying, "The camera should follow him too."

You can disagree, but wishing injury on someone is gutless.

If a hat is passed to pay Tort's fine, sign me up...I gotta say I respect him for saying what he thinks.

I can only hope if we don't take out the Penguins, you guys do.

It's kind of funny. Flyers fans, Devils fans, and Rangers fans all join together against the Pens.
Don't forget Isles fans. Once they become a threat again it will be all four against the pens.

FFS the entire NHL hates the Pittsburgh Crysbys.

You can pass that same hat around Wells Fargo. Flyers fans can all put a dollar in and Torts will make 50k-ish profit for speaking up (pending the Ranger fans all put in one dollar one night and Flyer fans do the same). Okay, maybe two nights.

Your move, Bettman.

The profit will be used for Tortorella's next fine, when he discovers there was a profit made from this.

Don't you see the difference?

It doesn't matter who Tortorella speaks to. He's going public, and it's just a matter of time before stuff like that gets picked up by other broadcasters. What he says in the locker room is his business, what he says to the press, even if it is the local press, is another matter.
Your arguments suck. So since you think it is ok for torts to be fined because he went public then I guess it is ok for Crosby to be fined now because he went public and said the same thing about Callahan????

don't even bother answering because I can already guess your answer. just gtfo with your biased bs.

This is ridiculous, there is no discussion at all in here, just piss fights.

EDIT: For the record I just got a little lost at HF, I thought this was in the main forum, if the Ranger mods want to reopen the thread after cleaning it up they can.

Guys, I said this would happen if you let the thread turn into a main board affair.

Thread is about Tortorella, and the fine. Lets try not to stray too far from that, eh?

Well...according to a thread on the Pens board, they should stay off the main boards, and rival boards until their run ends. So this is the "Bash Pittsburgh" thread, like it should be.

Yet they come here anyways. Kinda hypocritical. Once again, just like their players. You there Mario?

Hope we can get a Tortorella chant going at the Garden tomorrow, guy deserves it for the job he has done.

Fine is a joke, hopefully Dolan picked up the tab for him.

It's truly amazing on my attitude towards the Flyers from this season compared to last. I HATED these guys last season but, with their recent success and impending series against the Pens, I have never cheered for them harder.
