He made all three Angels look foolish, haha.
Weaver has gone eight strong with 10Ks, not a bad opening night for him against a rising KC offense.

he has been great, but runs are hard to come by once again for the Angels.

Nice. You are in midseason form already.

I think they basically just ran out of patience with him......felt he was never going to live up to the hype that came when they aquired him.
Meanwhile, at this point I think I'm more upset that they let Cespedes slip away.

Cespedes is outperforming even the best of expectations so far. Sure the season is short thus far, but he's looked fantastic

Well...offensively yes. No question his bat is there. Defensively, that's a whole different bag. Looked lost on a couple hard hit balls yesterday and fumbled a routine groundball in the outfield.

If that's true, that's pretty much the major reason I do like the DH. Which would you rather watch? A Pitcher like Lincecum who takes a swing and looks dumb doing it, or a DH like Cespedes who doesn't have to sacrifice an out and can do stuff like most fans like, the long ball? I understand the argument about if pitchers hit then it's strategy and stuff, but my problem with all of that is Pitchers don't work on hitting. If like 40% of pitchers in baseball were also good hitters, than I would be all for getting rid of the DH. Now though, that number is like 2%, meaning we have a long way to go.
