yeah it was a terrible trade and the decline of Martin didn't help the situation either.

Only been a few games but Sessions has looked great. Can't even remember the last time this team had a guard with that kind of speed. What a breath of fresh air. Nice to have someone that can take the ball to the basket and give Bynum and Gasol a few more easy baskets when their man goes to help.

If Kendrys returns to anything close to his 2009-2010 numbers the Angels are going to be pretty tough to beat this season.

Still mad the Halos only play once in Chicago again this season. I hate the baseball schedule sometimes.

I was hoping Fish could retire a Laker, but that's the nature of the business.

Magic Johnson's group won the bidding auction for the Dodgers. That was...by far the best option IMO.

Didn't know Stan Kroenke was in the running but glad he didn't get it. Maybe Arsenal will have a few bucks to spend this summer.

Very sad that Frank turned a 1 billion dollar profit 7 years later, while milking every dime possible during his tenure as ownership. Cheats always win.

Sad to say it but the only other SoCal team I'm interested in is the Angels.

And I grew up a Dodgers / Lakers / Kings / (Rams) fan.

He had a pretty forgettable game last night but overall I've been very impressed.

That lineup has gone from very little power to alot of power, also one of the best pitching rotations in baseball. I've been a Halo fan since 6th grade but this is the most excited I've ever been for a season.

Also for the Dodger fans here, are you guys expecting them to compete for the west this year?

Dodgers will be lucky to win 80 games this year. Not enough offense and the starting rotation is bottom heavy. We've got an Ace and four #5 starters. Yuck.

You consider Billingsley a #5 guy? Maybe not a #2 like where he is in the rotation now, but #5 seems low for him.

Bit offtopic, I was wondering why this forum doesn't have a Dodgers thread. Seems a number of other teams' forums have baseball threads, i.e. Leafs board has a Blue Jays thread, Ducks board has an Angels thread, etc.

Bills had a FANTASTIC outing tonight.

Granted...San Diego sucks major balls...an 8 inning 3 hitter is pretty freaking awesome.

But seriously LOL Padres...6 errors in 2 games 0_0

Bills looked awesome tonight, lets hope he keeps that cutter out of his bag of tricks the rest of the season.

Padres fans have a long season ahead of them.

Nice to see Dre's stroke back. His bombs were off a lefty, too. God, I hate Petco. He should've had 2 home runs tonight. 400+ foot power alleys are stupid.

Angels had a great season opener, weaver threw a great game and 5 runs in the bottom of 8th was fantastic to watch. Pujols looked solid and trumbo did great at 3rd base. Looking forward to a great season.

This is the best time of year when u can watch the kings on one night and the angels on the next.
