MacIntyre is up to help insure that our players don't injured. He's meant to be a deterrent. If the Flyers play by the rules, I'm sure nothing happens. Do I think this type of stuff works? Not really. I personally don't believe grown men in a league full of alpha male personalities are afraid of anyone. Yeah, I've seen similar stuff posted on there without even a trace of sarcasm. Like the guy saying Malkin goes out of his way to end careers. Or the guy comparing Matt Cooke to Muammar Gaddafi.
I fully expect that if anyone does anything that even resembles dirty play on either Sid or Geno that Macca will jump off the bench and jump them and just take the ten game suspension because he will probably never play for us again anyway.
