I suppose you'd be happy if we lost out Buffalo style?

Who needs to lose to win the lottery? Let's win and win the lottery.

I want a total obliteration of Toronto tonight!

It's best to finish the year on a good note. We don't want our players playing golf this summer, with the memory of a defeat of losing the last game against the leafs.

I actually hope we trash them but I won't feel sorry if we lose and Edmonton wins. Very unlucky however since Vancouver is going to pillage them..

We need to win in OT so that the leafs get 1 point then hope that Cammy scores a hat trick to win over the Ducks so that the leafs go out of the lottery haha!

Fail for Nail, Blow for Grigorenko, and the Suck for Galchenyuk

Both the Impact and the Habs play Toronto teams tomorrow. Hope they both win.

Hopefully we destroy Toronto tonight while Cole scores two goals. That would be nice.

What's going on there? This is already the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened where impact and habs play the same city either on the same day or the following day. (Vancouver, and toronto)... I think it happened with NY too although not 100% sure.

Anyways, its going to be a dramatic off season, so I cant wait for that. As for on the ice, I'd like to see Cole hit 35 goals, and once the final siren goes, I'd like to toss this season in a shredder and never speak of it again.

If we win, win in style. 6-0.

If not by a large margin, then just lose and Oilers. You ****in' win.

Yeah, it's the third time. Just that the NY game vs the Rangers was on the Friday night and the Red Bull game was on Saturday afternoon.

Of course there is. It's just the most popular sport in the world.

I'm all for us losing tonight combined with wins from Oilers/Flames/Coyotes.

We would draft #2 (except if we get screwed by the lottery) and Leafs would draft #7 (except if they would win the stupid lottery.)

You can only move down one spot in the lottery though right? So if the habs finish 28th the worst draft position they can is is 4th?

Yep... it would be 1st, 3rd or 4th.

I'll be happy either way, BUT if toronto loses and squeaks into the top 5, we won't feel quite so safe in "3rd" until after the lottery. Cannot have Toronto win the lottery. Of course we have more of a statistical chance than them, but it only takes one ball. Oh, damn, thought of a good leafs quip, but it's below the belt.

will be a very entertaining night of hockey all around.

I wish Edmonton's game finished first, then I could decide whether I care about the game tonight or not.

Rough season, and here we are in its final hours. Sadly, the best part will be our off-season and hopefully that goes well. I hope our next GM and coach are wise selections and that Timmins destroys at the draft. That the driftwood be cut loose ; the end of Gomez, Kaberle, Campoli, Darche, Gionta, Weber, Diaz, Palushaj, Enqvist in Montreal.

I'm gonna be in the building so I gotta cheer for the win. Ending the season watching Leafs fans celebrate in the Bell Center is no fun at all. But, if it happens, at least I can cheer for Edmonton to help turn a last-game loss into a draft-day win.

Whatever happens, we're likely going to end up with one of Grigs or Murray. I'm hoping so, anyway.
