Petrino's midlife crisis unfolding in the news. The bike, the affair.
When you look up sleezeball in the dictionary you find that fake Kurt Dougls-grin sporting Petrino's pic.
What a pecker.

So fired.
It's funny now though because he didn't die.

What a loser. He's lied throughout his career.
I feel bad for Hog fans, his wife and that ***** Dorells fiancé that must feel like a fool now.

I'm actually surprised that Petrino was fired
Either there was more to this story, past problems or the firestorm was just too much

I'm guessing the latter of the 3 (and of course I'm basing this on what I am in the middle of here in Miami with the Guillen/Castro controversy).

Maybe Arkansas should just leave a letter at Bobby's house...kinda like he left a letter in the players lockers here in ATL

Arkansas only fired him because he went outside of his family to have an affair with someone else. They look down on that in R-Kansas.

By firing Petrino, Arkansas just conceded the SEC West to Bama and LSU for the next decade.
I guess winning doesn't matter- after all, tis better to lose with integrity than to win with none.

Or just one university president with the guts to do the right thing. How could he allow Petrino to continue to coach, knowing the example he'd set for the young men in his charge? Sure, he hired the guy, but this is how you make up for it.
Sucks for Razorback fans because they would have been a contender this year.
My guess is that if we ever see Bobby Petrino again it won't be anywhere near division 1-A. Or whatever they call it now.

Arkansas had a chance to be great; they blew it.
They just proved once and for all that as long as morals and integrity are all that matter, it's OK to lose games.
They'll be the classiest, most dignified 6-6 team ever.

He gave $20,000 of state money under the table to the girl half his age because he was ****ing her.
ARKANSAS blew it? Really?

Bobby Petrino will join Gregg Williams on the "yeah, I'm never coaching football again." What college would hire this guy now? I'm sure he was going to be skipping town in less than two years anyways.

It isn't the affair -- the AD even said that.
It's that Petrino hired his side piece onto the staff and then lied about their relationship after the accident.
This isn't about morality -- it's about giving jobs to your good time gal and lying to your bosses. That'll get you canned just about anywhere.

This just in...
Arkansas is a big-time SEC football school.
In the longer run, they will be ok.
Petrino on the other hand, I hope gets worse treatment than Mike Price did for his scandal.
