logical choice considering he's the only one on the team right now with some form of GM in his title

Imagine If we win the lottery and he's standing there smiling

Youppi would had been the best...

Who cares ? They could had done it on phone or via Skype. Doesn't matter to see GM's faces.

Another Carrière classic in the works?

"Les Canadiens de Montréal are honored to have won Lotto 6/49 and will prepare for the draft by selecting the best scarves available on the market to make sure that the future of this dang mighty fine organisation is safe and warm."

I don't know if I could get us 1st overall, but I'd tell Burke off a ton. If he's even man enough to show.

It's not a surprise. And Carriere won't be next GM.
At the Press conference, Molson told everyone that Carriere was going to do the GM's job until one is named. He's the only one with experience to do the day-to-day.

to answer the question.

Masochism : Gratification gained from self imposed psychological or physical pain, deprivation, humiliation. Tendency to find pleasure in self-denial, submissiveness, ect.

Larry Carriere in the big bright lights representing the Habs on national TV.......

talk about a face for radio............

Geoff Molson should have been the "face" at the draft lottery, so when the Habs do win it, he could have popped open a few Exports, Canadians, and for we Westerners a few Pil's.

Again, not that big of a deal, but I would have thought Molson would have been there. You fire everybody significant, you acknowledge that it's the start of a new era, and yet you send a guy who will to this day be attached to the Gauthier era. Though it doesn't mean he will be sticking.

But I guess Molson has something else to do....

Still think Youpi with an Expos jersey would've been priceless.
